Huma Abedin Granted Access To Hillary Clinton | The Daily Caller

Newly released emails show that Hillary Clinton’s top State Department adviser, Huma Abedin, granted access to the then-secretary of state during overseas diplomatic visits based upon Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) donor status.

A Dec. 4, 2012 email obtained by Citizens United and shared exclusively with The Daily Caller shows that Paul McElearney, CGI’s head of member development, emailed Abedin asking if he could meet with Hillary Clinton during her trip to Ireland two days later.

Abedin said that she could accommodate McElearney, and he then asked if several other people, including two CGI sponsors, could also meet Clinton. McElearney forwarded four names for Abedin’s consideration.

Power Player for sale.

Let's read that again folks and this time put on your thinking caps, not your tin foil hats, okay?

Newly released emails show that Hillary Clinton’s top State Department adviser, Huma Abedin, granted access to the then-secretary of state [Hillary Clinton] during overseas diplomatic visits based upon Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) donor status.

Suggesting that if the donor contributed enough funds to the CGI, said donor received preferential treatment, towit, face-time with the Secretary of State. Now, here's the kicker...read it carefully now....

Doesn't say access was granted, just that names were solicited and considered. Furthermore, the individual who was granted access was already part of the CGI staff. I don't see a conflict there since he wasn't a donor. Moreover, the OP article makes it clear that Abedin questioned each additional request.

Are these legit cgi people?” Abedin asked Band and two other Bill Clinton aides, Jon Davidson and Justin Cooper. "I know denis o brian [sic] but not the others. Everyone is asking to see her,” Abedin added.

There is no confirmation whatsoever in the OP article that special visitation rights were granted. All this article does is make wild speculations of the possibility that such requests were granted, but it doesn't provide any proof whatsoever.

Speculation is all these people ever needed.

Speculation is all these people ever needed.

As the saying goes, "Perception is reality". So, as long as voters perceive there's more to be revealed from this email issue than has already been reported and that the focus of this current "announcement" is Hillary and not Huma, the continued perception of "Crooked Hillary" will go on.

As if it takes any imagination of what this really means.....

These are the Clintons after all. Slimy, corrupt, and self-serving is all they've ever been.

Confirmation bias.

Re: Huma Abedin Granted Access To Hillary Based On Clinton Global Initiative Donor St

Some how, I don't think that Huma Abedin nor Paul McElearney just went and took it on themselves to do things this way.

Somewhere someone told them that this is what they wanted to happen.

A reasonable suspicion. Likely one that'll challenging to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, unless one finds an email or paper memory that has these directions on it, but yet, that's exactly what it looks like happened, in at least 55% of the cases. Is that enough to 'make the case', as they say? I have no idea.

It would seem that the RICO statutes might be more productive.
