Clinton Campaign Email Outlines Effort "To Produce an Unaware and Compliant Citizenry" » Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

I've always said Left wing elitist thinks the average American is a imbecille, how else can you explain Clinton feeding one outlandish lie after another to the American people ?

Surely no one's stupid enough to believe her, right ? Well apparently producing idiots was their plan all along.

Explains the State of education in many States thats for sure.

I've read the quoted material in the entire paragraph in context, and I don't get the meaning implied in the article's title at all!

Podesta seems to be decrying the lack of public awareness, claiming Clinton is appealing to issues oriented voters, whereas Trump is entertaining his voters with material lacking in content - much to his voters' content!

Quite honestly, the Clinton campaign seems to be lamenting the voters' lacking in desire for issue oriented content! Just the opposite of that implied in the article's title!

Because they are close to extinguishing the competition with illegal immigration and amnesty, that's why. When this election is over, they will soon have total control.

The way I read it, he was saying up until recently, conspiring to produce a unaware and compliant citizenry was working.

But Trumps popularity meant that they had to alter their strategy and they still weren't sure how.

What else does " producing a compliant and unaware citizenry mean " exactly ?

He also laments the loss of compliance saying that citizens are still " unaware " but not as compliant......so WTF Democrats ??

This explains quite a bit

It means exactly what it appears to mean.

But by "we've all been quite content", I believe he's speaking of society collectively - not their campaign.

They're bemoaning their issue oriented campaign isn't reaching in the ways Trump does, because society & the electorate have become unaware & not interested in factual analysis. Quite frankly, I agree.

Just remember to take anything on Infowars with a massive grain of salt.

Oh my Fenton.

To sink so low as to use Infowars.

Its painfully obvious what he's refering to, he's speaking to a strategy, that PRIOR to Trump " the were content to conspire to produce compliant and unaware citizenry "

He even laments the lost of " compliance " and then wonders what Clinton can do to offset Trumps celebrity status.

Read it again, he states that the unawareness is " as strong as ever " but the loss of compliance " is a problem that demands " serious serious thinking "

I didn't get far.

One, it is so poorly written it's almost unitelligible and if he does get to the point of the overblown, Titanic Sinks" headlines its so buried it seems pretty innocous. FFS, Clinton is so ****ing vulnerable you don't even realize, yet keep coming at her with this over-blown rhetoric. It's no wonder the voter hates politicians....and yes, Donald is VERY MUCH one of them and always has been. Lets see, he's going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it, he's going to tear up NAFTA, which will increase jobs stateside, blow away carbon emission targets, he's going to bring back jobs from China AND he's going to balance the budget while increasing defense spending to some unknown target....

You believe that.

Threads not about infowars, its about the contents of a leaked email from Bill Ivey to John Podesta. Comment on the topic or buzz off and spam somewhere else

" And as I've mentioned, we've all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly. This problem demands some serious, serious thinking - and not just poll driven, demographically-inspired messaging."

Oh, I know that. Doesn't change what I said.

What " you said " was to take anything from infowars with a grain of salt and then you spammed the thread in your next post.

I don't see it that way at all, Fenton.

Here's the text in question, directly after the highlighted in the article:

“The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly. This problem demands some serious, serious thinking – and not just poll driven, demographically-inspired messaging.”

But the first sentence is describing the unaware, including the Trump supporters. The second is the campaign having the need to address the issue of an unaware entertainment driven electorate.

The first sentence belongs as part of the previous highlighted sentence. The second sentence needs to stand on it's own, as it relates to the earlier body of the document.

And to clarify, apparently the email is *to* John Podesta; it's written by Bill Ivey.

This is my take on it, and I have no problem saying we disagree. It's your thread, and I didn't come in it to tear it up.

Ok, lets try this.

Is he or is he not stating that the growing non-compliance of the citizenry is a problem that demands serious serious thinking ?

And is he refering to their unawareness as a good thing or a bad thing in terms of Hillary's candidacy ?

He's denigrating the compliance (along with 'unaware', etc), and then he's stating even that is sinking. But he's not asking the campaign to think about modifying the citizen's behavior, but trying to figure out how to reach them now that they're becoming dumbed-down.

And is he refering to their unawareness as a good thing or a bad thing in terms of Hillary's candidacy ?
He's stating their unawareness is a bad thing for her, since they're not getting her message.

Essentially, he's decrying the dumbing-down of the citizenry, claiming HRC will need to find a way to reach the non-critical thinking in the manner of an entertainer as Trump does, rather than with the traditional facts & policy.

And as I earlier stated, I agree with him.

If they were content to conspire to produce unaware citizenry up until Trump and that hasn't chanhed why would it be a problem for Hillary ?

You know Fenton, you ask a lot of theoretical questions, where all I'm doing is telling you what I see in the given text in the article.

And I don't see the premise you stated in the first clause of your reply to me.

It is Bill Ivey to John Podesta. And it's what we all knew. Demokrats have conspired to create a largely ignorant base.

Our education system, news and entertainment media are all complicit in this goal, and have been for 50-years.

And as I’ve mentioned, we’ve all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry.

The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly.

They admit the Demokrat base is largely a bunch of political and civic illiterates, and it is of their doing.

This is why Hillary cannot fight on issues, and rests her hopes on personal destruction.

She has, like Obama... been an utter failure, they know it, and lament they can't control the dumb sheep like they once used to.

The way he participates in this charade of voting, the average American voter IS an imbecile.

At least since the appointment of Edward Bernays in the last century, the government has openly manipulated the public perception. In that regard, Alex Jones is correct. Public Relations is a con.

Last year the Pentagon spent lavishly on Public Relations, spending more money on that effort than all other federal departments combined.
