Wow music sucks these days. Just in general it sucks and Rap is trite, un-inspired trash.

Every decade, from the 50's to the 90's has its own identifiable soundtrack but post-millenial music is gutless, engineered and lacking any distinctive creativity and its just getting worse.

Sure there are exceptions but can you really pin a disticitve sound on this era ? Other than Miley Cyrus and American Idol trash music ?

1.) No theres really not thats just spin you are trying to add to it.
She has an opinion
others have an opinion of her opinion
they are both free to have those opinion and criticizing one for having an opinion over the other is hypocritical, thats just a fact proven by definition of the word

Some of it is actually pretty deep. I've been listening to some underground stuff of late, and although generally it isn't my cup of tea, I will say that some of the lyrics can be profound at times, not what you'd expect. Of course I still say that the vast majority of it is just garbage, especially towards women, peers, and authority approaching and in a lot of cases achieving disgusting, but, some of it isn't bad. I judge music by the content and the context in which it is delivered, and of course it has to have a beat. I used to only listen to classic 70'2 rock, but have since branched out to enjoy a wide variety of music including classical, country (Prefer old country to new country), pop, and having 4 kids, I get heavy doses of adult contemporary.. Some of it's good, most of it is commercially produced, which include most of the "big stars", and that stuff just turns me off.. As far as this woman is concerned, I can give her a pass. Music is uniquely personal to everyone. You can't say that about just anything. I call it the DNA of oour souls. I find that people that can vehemently disagree about almost everything in life can always find compromise and commonality in music.

The type of person who would rather see a pound of the cure on Judge Judy than an ounce of prevention in her own Norf Norf bashing self. Before I read this thread, I didn't know about Norf Norf. She's all talk. But it would be funny to see this go to court. I would imagine she would be exhorting grievances for emotional distress, but I didn't watch the video.
