Assange drone allegations 'conspiracy theories', Clinton campaign manager

………….The much heralded October Surprise is an unsurprising dud……..

A report citing "State Department sources" claiming US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton suggested using a drone on Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has drawn scorn from Clinton's campaign manager.

According to the report by True Pundit, Clinton allegedly queried whether a drone strike could be used to silence Assange and Wikileaks in 2010, before the controversial group released more than 250,000 sensitive diplomatic documents dated from 1966 up to 2010.

Hillary Clinton's campaign manager Robby Mook during an interview with WTTG.com suggested the story, and other comments by Donald trump, were part of a desperate effort to distract from Trump's poor performance in the last week………….

……….. The report citing the State department sources claimed Clinton was under pressure from US President Barack Obama and other international leaders to silence Assange.

“Can’t we just drone this guy?” Clinton allegedly asked at a 2010 meeting with State Department officials. The report claimed the statement drew laughter from the room which "quickly died off" when Clinton kept talking "in a terse manner"………….

To Silence Wikileaks, Hillary Clinton Proposed Drone Strike on Julian Assange? : snopes.com

It is doubtful IMHO much will come of this…….

As a matter of fact conservative pundits and media outlets of those on the right have been demanding Assange be taken out…..as one said “ by lead poisoning with a bullet to the brain…….

Given this……I really doubt much will come from a flop of an October Surprise…….. and little will spill out on HRC if anything at all.......

Much ado about nothing

A lot of words you post, imyoda, many of them in bold font and even bold-underlined, with links to a variety of web resources.

A very fancy presentation, and all of it pleasing to the eye.

In my objective opinion though, less is more.
It reads like a torrid of whistling in the graveyard rationalizing to me.

Just an impartial observation sir.
Take it or leave it.
:(

so basically clinton threatened to kill him if he spilled the beans, lol. how typical of the democrat party :lamo

I rather vote for somebody who is consistently accused of wrong done yet somehow the facts never line up with the accusations than a draft dodger who still finds time to routinely insult people who actually served and thinks that Muslims and Mexican-Americans aren't real Americans.

AWESOME! Then I guess that means you are voting for Trump?

Especially since the subsequent portion of your statement is replete with examples of false accusations that the facts never line up with? :doh

Here is the story:

A report citing "State Department sources" claiming

Clinton allegedly queried

Clinton allegedly asked

I think that is a bit flimsy at best. There is a lot of factual information where Crooked Hillary has done wrong but this story is fact less.

Are you suggesting evidence of Hillary's proposed drone attack on Assange was the October surprise?
I think it may have been his motivation for a different October surprise entirely.
SBS? You're really reaching if you had to go there. Especially since they had to go to Robbie Mook.

Did you vote for Bill Clinton? If you weren't old enough, I'll bet you would have voted for that DRAFT DODGER.

Yes, and the american voter has only 2 choices when voting.....at least in their simple-minded view.

Yeah--- false accusations that the cult of Trump has been pushing since Day One.

Only two choices that have a chance of winning, unfortunately enough

No, I wouldn't have. I don't approve of draft dodging. Period, end of story, no matter who does it.

Much ado about nothing

It's not really "much ado about nothing", suggesting the assassination of foreign leaders/diplomats is something we've done, but not really a good thing to be wondering. Plus we have been using drones a lot lately, and that's not all that good either.

In the end, the best thing to happen to Hillary is Trump. She should be thanking her lucky stars (or whomever the Clinton's bribed, lol) that she's running against Trump. Had the GOP put up a competent candidate, she would be hurting.

Yes, that's the hook. The average voter thinks that by picking a winner, he has a stake in what will happen in the future.

He does have a stake, though. No matter who wins the presidency, everybody has a stake in what's going on in the country.

It's an illusion young man, what you believe.

The only people who even MIGHT have a stake are those who contribute $500,000 or more.

All the things they have taught you in your high school civics classes are only partially true, just a tiny bit true, and sometimes completely false.

DRAFT DODGER!?

Did someone say Donald 'The Draft Dodger' Trump?

Ask the folks over at Faux who have been reporting every Tom, Dick and Harry's of the EW have been screaming should be done for years now...........

You might think it's excusable because your hero Trump did it, but I don't.

Some people have a sense of morality that would preclude killing a combatant from a Nation that has not attacked the USA, nor threatened its' citizens. That would describe Vietnam, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Syria, among others. I'm a volunteer Vietnam Veteran and know that the draft dodgers during that War were just smarter than me and had seen through the "Domino Theory" charade that was the Public Relations Media campaign for the War. You might give the preceding facts some serious thought.
