George H W Bush to vote for Hillary Clinton

That's exactly why GHW is voting for Hillary, because of the way Trump totally derailed Jeb and his campaign.

Why would a father do anything differently?

NO the bush's are BIG OIL.. same as ted cruz big oil.. they are globalists......

ross perot was a nationalist like teddy roosevelt and trump...... perot said his family got threatened and said it was the bush campaign.... both clinton and bush was pushing nafta.. ross perot was pushing opposite to help america the best

You are flailing away incoherently. You're not even addressing what he said.

It is not a question of an outsider; its a question of who the outsider is. Trump has almost no positive attribute that would lead a thinking person to believe that he could even be marginally competent. He has no experience, no understanding of government, history or the geo-political situation, he is not a study, he has no coherent policy that he is espousing, he is extremely divisive, he is arrogant, narcissistic, thin-skinned, vindicative. He runs himself by his ego.

Don't ride with the wrong general into the right battle unless you just like being a martyr.

We had the same for the last 8 years, except that he had weaseled himself into the senate for a brief period of time. As for scholared, that one can't come up with a coherent sentence without being prompted either, unless he unloads about whites. Of course when he spews racist hatred, it's ok. When the other one does it, it's despicable.
No fan of either btw, just so you don't confuse me with a Trump supporter.

the media are globalists and nafta are globalists... clinton pushed thru nafta for the globalists that robs the middle class

the media brainwashes the low IQ liberals to tax the producers then the media and entertainment drugs them out and takes that same money

the crooks are working together with the unwise democrat voters

the wise are nationalists because that brings long term prosperity along with a strong middle class

trump shows the most wise by being a nationalist and understanding the MAIN problems

the main problem is a corrupt greed of the media....because they are globalists

How about that Bush voting for Hillary? Uh, sorry to go off topic.

bush also worked with the clintons on pushing thru nafta... which proves him and big oil are globalists and they work with globalist media to fool the middle class and low class to be drained to enrich the wealthy globalists...

globalists gets rich short term and then long term a nation falls .. but they then MOVE to another nation and work the same con game

I don't care who the Bush's vote for. Why would I? I might respect the Bush's for their service to the country, but I don't revere their opinions as a guide to what I believe is the correct decision. Rubio, Cruise, Kasich and Trump just buried Jeb. Dad's pissed off about it. Too bad. He'll get over it. Or not. Voting for Hillary won't get Jeb any closer to the WH.

I'll make a wager that "Dad" would have voted for Rubio, Kasich or Cruz (not Cruise) if one of them were the nominee. He isn't "pissed off" that his son was beaten. He just isn't stupid enough to vote for a dangerous man who is pretending to be a Republican. He at least knows what the country would get with another Clinton in office.

Possibly. I think H W is a little pissed, but I don't know if he's upset enough over Trump to vote for Clinton. I kinda doubt it. However, I agree that there were potential candidates in the primary, any one of which would be better than Trump. Trump is what we have, and I'm disappointed that none of those potential candidates were able to defeat him. How would they fare against the Clinton machine if they couldn't defeat Trump? In the end, I'll vote for the most conservative candidate running. Kind of a laugh there, huh?

Almost any of the other Republican candidates would be leading Clinton by a wide margin at this point.

Maybe, but none of 'em took out Trump, so we'll never know. I honestly don't think Trump was that formidable during the primary. In any case, I would've gladly supported Rubio or Kasich. As it is, I'm having a hard time deciding exactly what I'll do come November. If I'm not satisfied that Trump can do the job, I probably just won't vote, which will be a first for me.

I think a big part of the problem is that there was too many of them. Had there been far fewer candidates, maybe only a handful (Rubio, Kasich, Cruz, and Bush), Trump would never have won. JMO.

I'm not voting for Trump or Hillary. I can't believe in this great land of 320+ million people, we end up with those two.

I've voted in every election - even the off-year ones - since I was eligible to vote! I'll be damned if I let this farce of a race stop me! I'll vote for Johnson, or write Kasich in if I have to, because there is a lot at stake in who gets sent to represent me in DC for the next few of what is beginning to look like some very unusual times for this Country!

*Forgive me, but I'm Slovak...that's what makes me so stubborn!*

I absolutely agree about the number of candidates, and I blame the GOP completely for that stupidity. Split up the vote enough, and we end up with the Donald. A child could figure out that 17 candidates is just plain silly.

I also agree that the choice we are left with is poor. I will defend Trump from some of the insanity of the left, but I'm not sure I can vote for him. I still have a wait and see attitude.

I'm English, and that makes me stubborn too. I'm not sure why being of that descent would make me stubborn, but as excuses go, I think ancestry is a great one.

In the world, the English are waaay down the list of stubborn. The French are stubborn, but easily lose interest, Russians are pig headed stubborn, but borne out of ignorance and fear. The truly stubborn, according to Stalin, are the Poles. In everything important, it's resists, resist, resist. Stalin said they were a truly in-conquerable people as they won't submit no matter what the cost.

As you are probably aware, I've posted a few times on here in the past that I felt we needed a businessman instead of an attorney to run this Country. Well, the Gods of the Universe apparently decided to "let the little missy have what she wants, and we'll see how she likes it!" See what not being more detailed in your preferences can get you? :argue:

You make my head hurt.

You might have added 'sane' to the request, we'd be much better off

As much as I'd love to blame the GOP for there being 17 candidates, I'm not sure why I would do that. What were they supposed to do? Say "okay you can run" to Rubio, Kasich, Christie, Bush and Paul, and tell the others to go **** themselves?

Greetings, F & L. :2wave:

True that! The thing is that I was just ruminating, but they took it upon themselves, as Gods apparently do if they are interested in what humans do, or I would have definitely been more specific - must be fair and honest, handsome, sense of humor, etc. Unfortunately I was just thinking about how businessmen usually get things done - I should have known better, because the Gods can now say "well, some people get what they ask for, and they're still not satisfied," while laughing uproariously and slapping each other on the back for being so clever! Darn their hides! If I knew who to appeal the decision to, I would! :lamo

I also think a big part of the problem was too many of them plus the media gave Trump all the attention and pretty much zippo for the others. I don't think he could have beat them if the stage was smaller....there was too much distraction in the beginning taking away valuable air time for the serious contenders.....and in the end we were left with Trump who slid out ahead while the others were pretty much ignored by the media until it was too late. I don't know if the media really wanted Trump to win or if this was a major screw-up on their part....either way IMO we were left with the worst possible candidate in history when this should have been a shoe-in for any republican running up against Hillary. Afterall.....the GoP spent millions of tax payer dollars over the last several years making sure Hillary was discredited to the point that Mickey Mouse could win against her....what no one expected was Bozo the Clown upsetting the playing field.
