Planned Parenthood clinics to help register voters [W:217]

Sorry, wrong once again. Let me go through this so perhaps you can finally understand this. Let's take a definition from MedLine.

Surgical abortion is a procedure that ends an undesired pregnancy by removing the fetus and placenta from the mother's womb (uterus).

Surgical abortion is not the same as miscarriage. Miscarriage is when a pregnancy ends on its own before the 20th week of pregnancy.

A surgical abortion ends an undesired pregnancy. How does it end this pregnancy? By removing the possibility of life for the fetus. This is however different than a miscarriage, because it is done on purpose, rather than naturally through the body. Now, does every miscarriage end with the fetus being removed from the body? No, therefore an abortion is not the removal of the fetus from the person, it is the removal of life from the fetus. Try again.

Doctors also use surgical abortions to remove a dead fetus which has not expelled in timely manner.
If the dead fetus is left inside the woman a life threatening infection can endanger the woman's life so the doctor will perform the surgial abortion to remove the dead fetus.

Nothing you posted in the bold changes the fact your claims are wrong, nothing LMAO In fact you just proved why she was right and WHY they differentiate between the terms like I told you in post 272. Thank you for further proving your false claims wrong.

You adding your own wrong opinions and feelings at the end doesn't do it. Once again:
facts, definitions, medical science, medical links, many posters and the personal stories of posters that have lived it > than your lie

At this point I HAVE to assume you are joking and trying to make pro-life and pro-choice posters mad but it wont work they will just laugh at your factually proven wrong lies. :)

How can someone be so wrong? Its incredible. The doctors are not performing an abortion by removing a dead fetus from a woman. Every medical field makes distinctions between the surgery on whether the fetus is alive or dead. You continue to not understand basic medical definitions.

Yawn, you're still here? Perhaps you should try reading a book about basic biology before continuing to post here.

I already explained you are confusing the medical term abortion with the term induced ( or elective) abortion.

In medicine, an abortion is the premature exit of the products of conception (the fetus, fetal membranes, and placenta) from the uterus.

No I'm not. You're confusing the politicized version of abortion with the medical term. I suggest that you educate yourself in regards to what an abortion medically is, before you continue making yourself look foolish.

I have educated myself.

What has everybody else provided that factually proves them right:
facts, definitions, medical science, medical links, many posters and the personal stories of posters that have lived it

what have you provided that factually supports your claim:
you repeating "nu-huh"

You post fails and facts win again :)

And yet you have provided ZERO evidence that supports your lie . . .zero LMAO
tell us that cool line about looking foolish again :)

I have used databases used by the actual medical community. Others have used poorly translated stories coming from Israel as proof. Hilarious that you will go this far to defend your ignorance.

Why do you post lies? LAMO you haven't posted one single thing that supports your factually proven wrong lie . .not one, this is why nobody agrees with you pro-life or pro-choice.:lamo

Facts > than your posted lies

Planned Parenthood's PAC get government subsidies?

Nope and their the ones running the voter registration web site.

Just like the NRA-PVF PAC is running their voter registration web site.

A D and C is just a name for a type of surgical procedure.
It can be used after an early miscarriage but can used to treat growths in the womb or for endometriosis too.

Other types of abortions to remove a dead fetus are D and E or intact D and E ( also known a partial birth abortion.)
Intact Dand E abortions are now banned in the US but are legal if doctor uses that method to remove a dead fetus.

Yes, I'm familiar with these terms. My point is that I've never heard anybody use the term "abortion" as a synonym for a D and C.

I'm also familiar with the terms "spontaneous abortion" and etc., but let's not equivocate here: We both know that when people talk about abortion in this Abortion forum, they're talking about elective abortion/abortion on demand.

I rarely debate this too. It's futile. Despite some folks recently claiming that abortion doesn't kill the unborn, we all know what abortion is and what it does, and either you're ok with it or you aren't. Just a note about your post though. You say you support the actual act of abortion before brain activity, rather than saying you support the availability or even the woman's right to chose. That's interesting and a pretty rare position.
Actually it is not that rare, myself and others have pointed out that we cannot be a person (sentient) until one has a brain capable of thought. It does not stop the ant-abortion bunch they simply fall back on their "it has human DNA" argument.

May I suggest you get your toilet paper elsewhere then? This is actually quite disrespectful to the medical community.

When removing fetal materal a D and C is an abortion.

But as I explained D and C are also used for other medical conditions.

Apparently ajn678 does not understand that anytime a dead fetus or fetal material or the placenta is removed or from the uterus prematurely ...it is an abortion.

And yes , I told ajn678 there is a big difference between the medical term abortion ...(which is the ending of any pregnancy ) and induced/ elective abortion which is the intentional ( not natural/ nature) ending of a pregnancy.

You're utterly clueless about anything that is going on in this thread. Your lack of reading comprehension is astounding.
You made a remark and were called on it. Clearly you lack the integrity to address the simple question that was asked of you and your deflection is still pathetic.

Your own source differentiates between a late term miscarriage and late term abortion. If it was all considered an abortion, there would be no need to state a difference.

Intact dilation and extraction (Intact D&E) is a surgical procedure that removes an intact fetus from the uterus. The procedure is used both after late-term miscarriages and in late-term abortions.

Its a procedure that removes the dead(for lack of a better term) fetus, or to terminate the life of the fetus in an abortion. You fail yet again.

According to John Hopkins, a Dilation and Curettage (D and C) is a common "surgical procedure" to remove "an early death fetus", usually within the first trimester. And a suction D&C may be used following a miscarriage to remove the fetus and other tissues if they have not all been naturally passed. Infection or heavy bleeding can occur if these tissues are not completely removed.

Occasionally following childbirth, small pieces of the placenta (afterbirth) remain adhered to the endometrium and are not passed. This can cause bleeding or infection. A D&C may be used to remove these fragments so that the endometrium can heal properly.

However, there are several different "surgical techniques" for early termination of a live fetal pregnancy (abortion in the first three months). These are dilatation and curettage (D&C to scrape out the contents of the uterus), a VA (power vacuum aspiration (sucking out the contents of the uterus) or an MVA with a manual operated device.

The VA (vacuum aspiration suction method) is the most common type of abortion.

This is my entire point. A D and C is a surgical procedure. It can be used as an abortion if the fetus is still alive. If its not alive, its not used as an abortion, because there is no such thing as an abortion on a dead fetus.

You made a remark and were called on it. Clearly you lack the integrity to address the simple question that was asked of you and your deflection is still pathetic.

What was the remark you are questioning? Your initial post literally makes zero sense. You said I wanted to pass laws based on possibilities. Nowhere did I say I wanted to pass laws, nor do I want to do that. It would help if you actually read things though.

There is no distinction made by medical providers. Removing any contents from a uterus that is related to a present pregnancy, past pregnancy, live fetus, or dead fetus - are all viewed by physicians as a form of abortion.

and there it is thank you!!! lmao Please post that retarded lie as much as possible for all to see!!!!! That lie has been proven factually wrong so many ways now its ridiculous you keep claiming it with ZERO to back up your claim . . .absolutley zero . . your best defense is "nu-huh" LMAO

That's entirely false.
