Cop gets served a sandwich with ground glass in it.

sorry I have a bad habit of doing that, whats even better is watching others lash out have meltdowns and get mad about it and its already happened. WHen they lose thier **** thats the best.

Like i said if theres any facts or even EVIDENCE of wrong doing throw the book at the scumball piece of crap responsible. But currently the fools (as they were called), I mean detectives, doing the investigation feel there's no reason to believe it was intentional. Ill go with them for now, eventhough Im sure they are biased and want to cover this up since a fellow cop was harmed LMAO ;) good grief.

Like I said fluff and hype and media, its ruining some people.

Yep. Cops interviewed everyone and did an inspection. No evidence of foul play was found, only health code violations.
 
The fact that there was no evidence of wrongdoing on part of the restaurant reinforces my belief that this was staged.
 
Without finding ground glass in a container on an employee or someone seeing an employee dump glass in the food. I would not expect the detectives to find any evidence of intent.

It could be an unfortunate accident that happened at a time when violence targeting cops is receiving more coverage. It could also have been a stupid prank gone way to far.

I have found glass in my beer and tea before but been lucky to only find a fly or hair in my food.

Not necessarily. My husband found glass in his french toast once and when we let our waitress know she got the owner who was moritifed and gave us our meal for free. Accidents can happen.

It didn't have to come from the kitchen. It could have come from a supplier. That's how most of these accidents happen.

Of course.

There are many possible explanations for this. One is that someone purposely fed glass to a cop. The cops investigated that and found no evidence to that effect. But, apparently, for some here, that's not good enough.

I see what you mean. I did work it in a restaurant for some time and I cannot tell you how many large sheets of glass we routinely dealt with while serving food and how many times shards of glass were attracted to the food of police officers. I think it was a magnetic attraction to the badge.

I'm sorry but this is TOO weird. How in the world can glass get into food? Are people THAT freaking stupid to not pay attention to what they're doing so much that glass somehow gets into the food? If its true that this was unintentional then this restaurant needs to be closed down asap and be made to get that place in tip top shape. New plates, glasses etc etc and any chipped plates/glasses needs to be thrown away immediately after they get chipped from now on. My god if this had been a child? MY child? I'd be suing the hell out of that restaurant to the point where it'd be mine plus some.

Idiotic.

Did you read the OP.

They didn't say a big sheet of glass broke, and if it did, they shouldn't be serving food from that kitchen until it was all cleaned up.

How they say it happened is highly unlikely.

I'm not saying that the coincidence isn't a bit odd and highly suspect. But, I trust the cops are not morons, and if they say they are confident that no ill intent was found, I believe them.
