Donald Trump Thinks North Carolina Got It Wrong On Anti-LGBT Bathroom Bill

As you said, he "hasn't even opened is war chest yet." What do you think he'll find there? Votes? instructions for being presidential? Sanity? Snake oil? Just what does he have in his war chest?

He's got money to buy advertising. Hillary R Clinton already has spent plenty and will continue to do so. I'm sure you have no problem with her spending, spending, spending... Here's a funny one, she wants to get Citizen's United overturned... Guess who is benefiting from Citizen's United... It ain't Trump.

When you say I'm underestimating Trump because he still has his war chest, I interpret that to mean that money is what will win. I don't doubt that money is what will win, or at least be a major factor in who will win. If I had my way, neither candidate would be spending millions of dollars to be elected. We'd choose the candidate based on merit, not on the size of their war chests. Unfortunately, I don't have my way.

OH, and I'm judging Trump and his chances of winning not based on how much money he has, but on the statements he has made. Women, who make up half of the voters BTW, are never going to be convinced to vote for Trump regardless of how much money he spends.

Yet, he just keeps winning and winning. Do you think there weren't women in those last five states?

That is a mystery, how he keeps fooling so many Republicans when some of them must be women who have heard how he speaks of his wife and daughter, as well as what he said about Megyn Kelley. The party must be dominated by men. When all of the voters get to choose between the first woman president and a man who refers to his wife as a "nice piece of ass", we'll see his support drop off pretty quickly.

Ah yes, Hillary R Clinton. Just a reminder, in her better days when she was younger and more charismatic she couldn't even beat Barack H Obama.

She didn't beat Obama, but now she's up against a misogynistic con man instead of a solid family man. She should have an easier time of it this time around.

Hillary R Clinton said, “He cannot win, Bill. He cannot win.” when talking about Senator Barack H Obama back in 2008. Hillary, the wife of a popular former President and a sitting Senator could not win against the relatively unknown first term Senator who had been a "community organizer" and senior lecturer? Hillary has the charisma of a pissed off and cornered rattlesnake. There are people who don't like Donald J Trump but many of those same people will tell you that they don't need to like him to vote for him.

Well, we'll just have to see. I think there are a lot of people who dislike Hillary Clinton less than they dislike either Trump or Cruz.

Maybe I'm just projecting, as I most definitely dislike here least of the three, but as I said, time will tell.

Here's the bigger question, which one do you think would be better for our economy? Hillary who promises four more years of the same... or Trump, full of new ideas and not afraid to try something new.

Ever hear of a loose cannon?

Origin

From the 17th century to the 19th century, wooden warships carried cannon as their primary offensive weapons. In order to avoid damage from their enormous recoil when fired they were mounted on rollers and secured with rope. A loose cannon was just what it sounds like, that is, a cannon that had become free of its restraints and was rolling dangerously about the deck.

Hard to say just what the result of that particular loose cannon might be. I'd predict it won't be good, either for the economy, or the foreign policy, or anything else.

Hold on, we are told by the left that President Obama can't do anything that he wants because the CONGRESS has him stopped cold. So you are saying that President Donald J Trump will be more powerful than the feckless wonder in the White House now? Interesting.

That is one hopeful thing about the danger of electing a con man to the White House: The founding fathers knew what they were doing when they wrote a balance of powers into the Constitution. Few of the harebrained ideas promoted by Trump will get past the Congress. The frightening possibility of his becoming the commander in chief of the armed forces at a time when the Congress has already abrogated its power to declare war is quite worrisome, however, as is the loss of respect around the globe that is likely to result in the event he should be elected.

Actually your statement is full of holes.

Cruz responded weeks ago over the trans bathroom issue in NC and recognized the citizens of that state taking a stand against something the majority felt to be wrong. If it brings economic hardships due to activists pulling their businesses from the state so be it. They will survive just fine. To hear Trump talk we should all lower our principles in the name of the almighty dollar.

Trump doesn't share the views of the majority of people in North Carolina, He doesn't have a problem with shared bathrooms.

Oh and on a lighter note. Cruz Team just released a fabulous ad that is going viral on the internet.

Excellent!

How do you know a majority of NC citizens are for it? From what I can tell a handful of politicians were the ones that want this and made a big deal out it.

First sensible thing I've heard out of Trump since I can't even remember when.

He certainly seems even more openly dismissive of the Constitutions' restraints on an Imperial Presidency and overbearing Federal Government.

Worse his particular brand of liberal authoritarianism wouldn't be even adequately checked by Congress.
