Re: Group wnats Prophet Mohammad ads on trains. [W:381]
Going too far. I see it as hate speech which, in the U.S., is protected but is not allowed in public places.
No different than having an ad on a bus that used offensive racial slurs or something. It's indecent and shouldn't be allowed

Group wants Prophet Mohammed ads on trains, buses
– Activist wants Muhammad cartoon put on D.C. buses
"So far, relatively few people have seen the winning Prophet Muhammad cartoon from the Texas contest that provoked an attack by would-be jihadists this month.
But soon, commuters and tourists in the nation’s capital may be unable to avoid it.
The local transit agency is weighing a request from Pamela Geller, the anti-Islam activist behind the Garland, Texas, contest, to plaster the cartoon on buses and subway stations.
“We cannot submit to the assassin’s veto,” she said in announcing her planned ad campaign.
So what say you all? This was a hotly debate topic on here last month and I would be interested to see what people thought about this idea? Would those in favor of this type of hate speech be willing to jump on and ride the morning commute or is this going too far?
