Drone strikes counterproductive, says secret CIA report

Jeremy Scahill - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Well, OK. But I'm expecting a rather one sided treatment.

You are already receiving a one-sided treatment by way of MSM. You asked the question regarding just who it was that was being killed indiscriminately, not I.

If you want your questions asked, watch the documentary. If the questions were just lip service and rhetoric, I understand completely. :peace

Well, no, you are right. I did ask the question, and I accept that the MSM treatment is one-sided, but not any more so or less so than the documentary. None the less it's a bit more information on which to form a more informed opinion.

Thanks.

I consider most information presented by the media to be towards the extreme, of whichever side.

So, for me, I try to walk the middle, to find the middle, in between the extremes. :) Somewhere in between is the truth.

I wonder what the Japanese would have thought about that statement in August of 1945....

They would have said that if our ground troops hadn't been able to take islands close enough to the mainland, we couldn't have nuke Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

Okay - good reply. I actually agree with you that we can't win a war by air alone - I was just trying to yank your chain, and you provided a better response. BZ to you for that one!

No, you were trying to get over on me and I smoked your butt; now, you're trying to save face.

But Obama loves drone bombing people!

Greetings, Ikari. :2wave:

This is probably a dumb question, but if we are attacked by drones, which some have said is a method that could be used in biological warfare, would we be able to tell which Country attacked us by the drones they used? At least with planes, we could identify them. Can we identify drones?

Did WW2 create more fascists?
In a way yes. Allot of the corporatists here and stalinists abroad got much closer to fascism after the war.

Plus that was a totally different situation. We didn't declare war on a idea during ww2 like we did here.

Who were the 'corporatists? And are you calling Communists "Fascists"?

Nazism and Fascism were indeed "ideas".

No communism is the opposite of fascism. The corporatists would be all the different corporations contracted to do the Nazis bidding, in america and abroad. Mussolini was a huge corporatist.

We did not declare war on Nazism or fascism, we declared war on country's, like Germany.

Interesting stuff. Where did you study history?
