Watch: Baltimore Police Reportedly Curse at and Taser Woman for Recording Video

I'll jump ahead of the forum's police groupies: "She resisted."

I highly recommend that we simply disband all urban police departments. Obviously the cops can't be trusted so just do away with them.

How about just change attitudes and policies that harm the innocent?

Getting rid of the bad ones is a good idea too.

On the whole most departments do a really good job of getting rid of bad cops. It's just getting kind of old when every day there's another "outrageous" action by some cop where we only hear one side of the story.

Increasingly the videos (when the cops aren't trying to destroy them) are the only story available. If the cops would stop resisting (lulz) the implementation of videos on all cops then their side could be told. Interestingly enough, the cops are frequently caught lying so maybe that's why they want to keep it to a "he said, she said" situation.

Duplicate thread late to the game.

Its amazing how now days someones only crime may be "resisting arrest" Dont you have to commit a crime first in order for "resisting arrest" to even happen? If so then how can someones only charge be "resisting arrest"?? Isnt that what cops charged many civil rights protesters with? "Resisting Arrest"

Yep. Similarly, we should disband the United States government entirely because small government is better.
