Really, it's "liberals" who have been trying to kickstart a race war. I guess that's why righties have been basically rooting for "those people" to riot.

Right! It was the righties shrieking "burn this bitch down". It was the righties that were really inciting riots and hoping for looting opportunities. It was the "righties" instigating protests across the country over a racial issue that was never a racial issue. Lefties have been working overtime trying to foment a feckin' race war and all you've got is that "righties are the ones really rooting for it". Wow. Just.... WOW.

Your "if" conditional logic failed. What I said was a gross partisan generality with an enormous basis in reality. Lefties have been ratcheting up the racist rhetoric nonstop for the last 6 years. If they are not trying to foment a race war, they're doing their level best to act like they are.

To be fair...I think the ones that are doing it(not all 'lefties') are doing different things with different motivation. The race batters and agitators are doing it to gain support and money. The politicians are doing it trying to inspire people to go to the polls and vote. Problem is...there's a whole lot of stick and no candy. Overall as a population it appears the black community still votes as a bloc....but nowhere near as many of them are inspired to vote. Voting for the black guy has lost that new car smell. The next black guy...well...why should he or she be any different than the last two? So it may stir people up to protest but that doesn't necessarily mean that will translate at the polls.

I think that is a very benign take on it. It looks very much to me like the left, in lockstep, no less, is wasting no opportunity to try to inflame racial issues and pushing the entire country toward an actual race war. They've been engaging in molehilling exercises in which they have been taking turns creating molehills that they can subsequently call mountains.

Racism exists but it isn't purely the domain of white people and it's not the reason why either Garner or Brown ended up dead. It's not the reason why black on black violence is so high. It's just not the reason republicans detest Obama. It is, however, the convenient and mindless political cudgel that democrats have chosen to wield and it's pushing us closer to a race war than I've ever seen in this country in my adult life.

Burn this bitch down feels AWESOME...until you wake the next morning and realize you have just become the king of pooh and you have been throwing **** all around your kingdom.

Thjis is the same rhetoric that was used during the Occupy Wall Street movement. Grab the pitchforks, boys, make the pigs bleeeeeeeeeeed!!!! The organizers enjoyed the momentary rush, and politicians swooped in on their way to their fundraisers with bankers and brokers to voice their 'solidarity' with the movement. It was all a sham. I dont think this is any different to be honest.

But hey...I never need a reason buy more ammo. I think the fact is (and as it was said in another thread) should there be some sort of 'war' stirred up, it wont get much beyond the black communities and the black communities WILL lose. Brown is itching to relegate black back to the back of the bus. Hell, even the president knows brown is where the political cachet is...not black. Big picture? People frankly just dont care very much about black people, black communities, and black causes. They make a good voting bloc but have proven they dont demand anything in return. Along with the senior vote, pandering to liberal extremists, pandering to the poor with a bunch of baubles and false promises, they make great pets.
