Most businesses destroyed in ferguson minority owned

I tell you what pisses me off about all of this. All I've heard from the various black "leaders" of the world tonight is how the state of Missouri failed to properly protect the citizens of Ferguson and their property. Yet, a few months ago, it was that the Missouri NG and Ferguson PD responded in a too heavy handed manner to protests. It's either or guys. You don't send in the thumpers and tell them "don't hit too hard". I tell you one thing. If I'm a guardsmen, sitting at the house, enjoying the family and knowing I gotta go to my civilian job the next day and I get a call that I gotta come quell a riot of a bunch of idiots who are basically throwing an adult temper tantrum, heads are getting thumped.

The opposite is true.

We are still a nation of laws. The grand jury, comprised of citizens, get to see the evidence, hear the witnesses and determine if there is probable cause to bring charges. They met, they reviewed the evidence, and they determined that there was insufficient evidence to support bring charges.

You may pretend that they lost legitimacy because they did not listen to the mob's howls for the blood of an innocent man. It simply shows you for who you really are. The ones who are corrupt and dirty are the race hustlers, the community organizers, the rioters and the looters.

You say it all when you say that you do not care who is right. This attitude is what makes you so very wrong.

Of course we are a nation of laws and law. But quite obviously that is not enough, judging by what we are seeing. And taking the easy way out by saying that the mob in the streets is bad is rather disingenuous and the arrogance will only get us more of the same. Sounds like a bad answer to me. And machine guns on the streets will not make me feel safer.

And BTW I did not say that it makes no difference what happened nor that it does not need to be got to the heart of. What i said was that it is irrelevant to making sure that justice is seen to be just. That is where we failed independent of the underlying deed.

I say we are a nation of laws. And you half heartedly say we are before you reverse course and howl along with the rabid dogs who looted and burned. I think the looters and the burners should be hunted down and face justice. I think those who support and encourage the ones who looted and burned should also be arrested and face justice.

Justice, by definition, is just.

There was no failure beyond the failure of the mob. I hope that you all get what you deserve.

Rabid dogs? I am not surprised you might see as and liken your fellow citizens to sick animals. You might want to revisit your position. After all, that is rather a fascist way of viewing people and that is usually the wrong side to take.

if l am wrong ,correct me without saying l am wrong.just do it!.you never do
Wtf?
You were wrong.
Period.
You were corrected without using the word wrong.
And what exactly is this that I never do? Huh!

You are speaking nonsense, as in making no sense.
Do you understand that?

So long as they left the Wendy's alone...I love their baked potatoes.

And if they burned down the Dodge dealer, tell them to please leave the Hellcats alone (Challenger and Charger). And the RAM 1500 regular cab Sport's/RT's.

I suppose if you are part of the criminal element who loots and burns down buildings you might take offense to my apt description. What is fascist about describing the scum of the Earth realistically? Those rabid dogs need to be hunted down, arrested and tried.

american capitalism is more Vandal as far as l see

Uh. Okay. I like capitalism. You're apparently a socialist, good for you. Has nothing to do with the fact that Mike Brown robbed a store, then attacked a cop investigating the robbery.

would you want him to have been aborted too ?

No, I hate it when the innocent are killed in aggression. Mike Brown was not a victim, not an innocent - he was an aggressor. He robbed a store then attacked a cop investigating the robbery.

martin wasnt robbing any store when he was killed..but many of you kept accusing him of being killed!...you are all invalid.

We don't need to accuse him of being killed. He was killed. And that's fine, because that's what happens when you attack others in aggression - they can kill you in self-defense.

This is part of the stupidity I see. They destroy themselves, because they think looting, burning, maiming people will all help them. I remember after the Rodney King/ LA Riots how people like Jesse Jackson said we needed to understand their rage. No I don't need to understand their rage, they need to understand what a bunch of buffoons they are.....what a bunch of moronic low-lifes they are for doing these things. Maybe there are injustices done by the police, but rioting when they are clearly in the wrong only defeats THEIR argument.

This perplexes me also. It is embarrassing. This goes all the way back to the assassination of MLK. Take responsibility for your community, don't destroy it. You don't want the injustice of police brutality, then police your own community. Give a F&*( about your city, neighborhood, citizens, etc.) Many minorities have felt that they have been served injustice, yet, they don't destroy their community, e.g. Native Americans, Latinos, etc.. I saw a lot of Americans pissed off when the Affordable Care Act was passed, but I did not see them riot. Create leaders, not sympathy.

More than half listed: Walgreens, Autozone, and Family Dollar for instance are not franchise and are not owned by minorites. I agree rioting and looting is not the answer and I do not support it, however; that article is based on lies. I do feel sorry for anyone who lost their business but let's not lie that most of these are corportations and not small business owners.

With all due respect, it doesn't make it right that the victims were corporations and not minorities. These corporations supplied jobs and services to the community.

Agree. Just like last time most of those arrested weren't even from Ferguson and many weren't even from Missouri. People just looking for a reason to act like assholes.

This is where the Department of Justice should get involved, these criminals crossed state lines to commit a crime, isn't there Federal laws against that?

Even if every store was white owned with white employees it's an absolute disgrace.
As I've stated many times before, liberal white Democrats will do ANYthing to keep that 90% voting bloc. They dare not EVER say a disparaging thing about blacks. Ever.

Respectfully, I disagree. First off, I bet half of these idiots don't even vote or care or cannot vote because they are felons. I say that in this case criminals, that are African Americans, that committed these crimes should have disparaging things said about them. In fact, it should be their community that says these things. If these idiots where Caucasian or Hispanic or Asian or Native American, someone should say something.

Problem is, they might think you were a rabid dog needing hunting down, the way you write.

And I might be a rabid dog if I looted and burned buildings. Since I have not they would be mistaken. So it is not really a problem.

By the way, there were 100 FBI agents in town to watch the looting, burning and general Obama-inspired lawlessness. How many arrests did they make?

I await 4th quarter GDP figures to show a dramatic increase in residential investment and construction due to ferguson riots...

My guess is it will decrease...along with the population. Who'd wanna live in Ferguson after this?

No. Treating it like a dog and pony show would not do. Treating it as a serious issue that needs to be addressed in a totally transparent public arena, when a young citizen is shot 6 times is not quite a dog and pony trick. As a matter of fact it is necessary for legitimacy of social order. Even the old babylonians knew that.

i dont know if the grand jury testimony has been released yet...but my understanding is that it will be

if a panel of people after sitting for months couldnt find enough evidence to warrant a trial, why would you think one is needed?

do you believe the grand jury was tainted? if so, by whom?

and this is the FIRST time i can ever remember the entire transcript being released.....

people wanted transparency....they will get it

i dont understand what more could be done......

So...maybe there should be civil lawsuits filed against people that acted to incite those riots. I wonder...do we have audio/video of such people?

Surely there are photos. I hope those who were looting and burning are all identified and arrested. They shouldn't get away with this.

The fact that we are seeing, what we are seeing happen, shows that there is distrust of the Grand Jury's impartiality and probably even its independence. This is even worse, considering the wide spread emotions and violence the affair has unleashed. We are obviously facing a systemic problem that cannot be solved at the county and probably not even at the State level.

i disagree

what i think it shows is that the black community lacks leadership

it has plenty of trouble makers, and race baiters.....but where are it's leaders?

where are those willing to invest back into their own communities?

where are those standing up for the charter schools so that their children can actually get a decent education?

and since so many of the black community think the police forces around the country are racist, why arent more black cops patrolling the streets?
