Most businesses destroyed in ferguson minority owned

You know I agree that rioting and looting is bad so let's focus and denounce it but I am just asking to not pretend like minorities owned the ones listed in the article. Let's call it how it is and denounce it all and how they are hurting the communities and the businesses who are innocent.

Sure. Righteous anger at the corporate salve masters is justified. It's good to burn down your plantation every once in a while just to show the bastards that you can.

Of course it kind of sucks for old lady Jane to have to walk an extra 2 miles to get her prescription filled because you burned the Walgreen that was just a block from her. It's also kind of a bummer that Dollar Store is is now another dollars worth of gas away. But, hey! At least you showed those bastards who's boss.

That's what I was doing, until I had to take the time to mull over the nitpickiness going on. And frankly you don't know that no minorities own those businesses.
 
I'm sorry, I don't remember the names but I did hear a lawyer being interviewed on TV that represents 4 of the businesses. He said all 4 were minority owned. Destroying property hurts the property owner regardless of his or her race. Why would the race of the owner have anything to do with anything.
 
Much like a child breaking things when throwing a tantrum, these morons simply assume that they will soon be repaired/replaced. They feel entitled to having other folks provide for them and will soon complain of being denied places to use their EBT cards or to find jobs. Justice (just us?) commands that others respect their tantrums and make it all better by rewarding their fits of rage.

Drug gangs are businesses, have you ever watch the show where a guy goes and talks to these people? Yeah, they're not so stupid they couldn't know better. Sure there are always some idiots, but not all.

WHO is justifying it? Did I in any way justify it because I pointed out most of the business listed are not in fact minority owned, which is the point of the thread? I DO NOT AGREE WITH RIOTING AND LOOTING but this whole op is not entirely correct because most of the ones listed in the article are not minority owned.

The leaders of the community are always responsible for what happens. Where were they? Where are they? This is not LA, rather a small community with an abundance of stupid people. They deserve each other-keep the fires lit you seekers of truth and justice!!!!!

This is part of the stupidity I see. They destroy themselves, because they think looting, burning, maiming people will all help them. I remember after the Rodney King/ LA Riots how people like Jesse Jackson said we needed to understand their rage. I saw one being interviewed by Hannity last night. She was pretty upset at the verdict. “Tonight is another display of what American ‘justice’ (airquotes) looks like for those of us who are black and brown and this is not a surprise. ”

Very helpful comments.
