off the table for blacks charged in Murder of Police officer in Virginia...

http://allenbwest.com/2014/11/blatant-racial-hypocrisy-death-penalty-table-black-attackers-charged-murder-white-officer/

excerpt:

“U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has taken the death penalty off the table for four people charged in the gang-related slaying of a reserve Virginia police officer. Federal prosecutors said Friday that the four co-defendants will instead face the possibility of life in prison for their alleged role in the killing of Capt. Kevin Quick.”

“The 45-year-old Quick of Waynesboro was reported missing Feb. 1. His body was found several days later in Goochland County west of Richmond. The Daily Progress reports that authorities say the three siblings and another man charged all belong to the Bloods gang set 99 Goon Syndikate. The four charged in May are Daniel Lamont Mathis, Shantai Monique Shelton, Mersadies Lachalle Shelton and Travis Leon Bell, also known as Kweli Uhuru.”

Since 4 people wont face the death penalty means "hypocrisy"? But they are still being charged?

Re: Blatant Racial Hypocrisy as U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Takes the death Pen

When the Feds execute someone again I'll start caring, the Feds haven't executed anyone since mcveigh, who wanted to be a martyr, so does it make any difference if they get fed death pen or not?

Re: Blatant Racial Hypocrisy as U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Takes the death Pen

They could still be put to trail and put to death in state court if Virginia wanted to do so. Double Jeopardy doesn't apply when they are different governments prosecuting. Holder, however, is generally against the death penalty so I am not sure that there is any hypocrisy here.

I didn't really know what to expect literally when I read that title...Think about it

Why is this racial hypocrisy? Because he's black?

It's almost like you pick the weirdest examples to point out racial hypocrisy. Since 1963... the federal government has executed... 3 people. 2 were mass murderers, 1 killed/raped a US soldier. Of those 3, one was black. In short, that says that blacks have actually been over represented in federal executions for the past 50 years as they comprise only 13% of the population. I don't think you or that idiot Allen West actually thought this argument out too well.

That was a State of Virginia crime that the asshole Holder butted into and told them NOT to pursue the death penalty.

If you're too damned stupid to figure that out, I can't help you.

Re: Blatant Racial Hypocrisy as U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Takes the death Pen

See the post above.

That doesn't make a difference at all. If nothing else, it shows how little you know about the subject. Federal prosecutors/judges are the same people who over a 50 year period decided to go for the death penalty in 3 cases. Of those 3 cases, 33% involved a black male. So for you to sit here and claim that there is racial hypocrisy when 1, the death penalty is hardly ever sought by the federal government and 2, in the cases where it has been sought blacks are overrepresented is as laughable as when you claimed black people don't go to prison for income tax evasion. You're getting desperate, Hogwash. I know a few stormfront trolls have departed but there is no need for you to fill their shoes just yet. Ease your way into the role.

Show us a case in which Holder has pursued the death penalty against a white plaintiff with a black victim in similar circumstances. You know, since that is the premise of your thread and all right? To say that your motives are transparent here would be an understatement.

Childish namecalling is what people do when they don't have an actual argument.

There was no motive except to bring Allen West's column to public attention. (By the way Allen West is black and Eric Holder had NO BUSINESS shoving his nose into the STATE of VIRGINIA criminal case.)

Holder doesn't control what Virginia does. They can ignore him if they so desire seek whatever penalty they want. You are just pissed at Holder because he is linked to Obama, and we've all seen how fair-minded you have been in the past concerning Obama.

Re: Blatant Racial Hypocrisy as U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Takes the death Pen

All I can say is Allen West is not much of a writer. That was a truly bizarre rant - never really could see the point of it, somehow linking the decision to not seek the death penalty in the Virginia case, 'only' life without parole, same as nearly all other Federal cases, with Ferguson??? Wtf..... Why not bring Benghazi into it? Makes as much sense.

It's not just this thread dude. Your dislike of minorities has been made abundantly clear to anyone with a teensy bit of perceptive abilities. The fact that Allen West is black (and happens to be a complete knucklehead) doesn't lend credibility to you or his opinion. To demonstrate hypocrisy, Holder would have to suggest similar actions in similar situations, which has certainly not taken place here. Just an obvious bait thread that fell flat on its face.

Re: Blatant Racial Hypocrisy as U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Takes the death Pen

Allen West has all the credibility and gravitas of a shart.

Wut?

Let me Whiten that up a bit, my beautiful American sister:

Ninety Nine Criminal Team - Name of a criminal enterprise. Presumably one that operates in one of America's low income neighborhoods - otherwise known as the ghetto.
Shante Monique Shelton - One of the defendants.
Mercedes Lachal Shelton - Another defendant, related to the one above.
Travis Leon Bell a.k.a. Made Up African Name

Apparently you and those who liked your post have no idea how absurd and ill conceived your statement was.
It didn't even dawn on you, and you even posted the same nonsense again. :doh

Crime does not present itself equally amongst the races.
So you have no valid example of over representation.

Given that blacks proportionately commit far more crime/murder than whites do, that might actually be an under representation of black crime/criminals.

For accuracy you would have to know the racial stats of those federal crimes eligible for the death penalty for any valid comparison.

Eh... of the 3 executions carried out by the federal government, 1 was a black person. The fact that blacks make up 13% of the US population demonstrates blacks were overrepresented. Please demonstrate how that is factually incorrect with something other than 'because I say so'.

None of this has anything to do with my statements. Thanks for trying. Now go back to complaining about Michael Dunn.

Already shown. It is a meaningless comparison and as such, invalid. And your failure to recognize that is dishonesty.
Crimes are not committed equally amongst the races and as such does not show any such over representation.
If you do not understand that, that is your fault for being untaught.
And yes it has everything to do with what you presented. It shows what you presented is meaningless.
There is no over representation. Given the crime stats, it is more than likely an under representation.

Your further comment was also stupid.

Bottom line is when there are only THREE executions over several decades, Holder not pursuing the death penalty in this case is simply nothing more than the Feds being entirely consistent with all other similar cases in my lifetime, extending through JFK, and LBJ through W Bush and Obama. So it's business as usual over many decades, not "blatant racial hypocrisy" which was the entire, laughably bogus, premise of the OP.
