The world keeps spinning around and keeps getting crazy. After one of the schools allowed a transgender teen (who hasn’t had the surgery yet) to use girl’s toilet, now in Minnesota they consider a possibility of allowing transgenders to use the shower together with the sex they identify themselves.
And while boys might even welcome such changes, I’m not sure that girls or their parents would be extremely glad to see a boy in the girl’s locker.
Seriously, why some doubtful need of one or two people is prevailing over the needs and rights of other people? Give them their own locker, everybody would be happy.

A transgendered boy is a boy and should use the boys restroom. And any person who is confused about their gender should wait until they are out of high school and a legal adult before undergoing any kind of permanent change. Adults should not pander to this type of gender confusion by inconveniencing the whole of society.

There's nothing in the article that says anyone from the Minnesota State High School League wants to allow transgender boys to use the girls locker room. That was just made up by the author, Alex Newman, and an organization called Child Protection League for scare-mongering ads.
It's a loada crap.

I don't know what transgendered kids where to school, but that is not the issue here.

It is whether transgendered boy will be allowed to play on girl teams... Not if they have to shower together, or share looker rooms, or pee infornt of each other, or get to wear dresses to school...ect.

A slight variation on that theme may be those that will claim to be a lesbian trapped in a boy's body. ;)

Change locker room and restroom labels to "them'' and "us" and let the chips fall where they may?

I agreed with you until the last line. Home-schooling is not the opposite of the public-schooling. Private-schooling is.

Not true. TG people are attracted to people that match their birth gender as well as those who don't. The only TG I know was born male, but loves women. His/her dream is to get sex change and be in a lesbian relationship.

If there are unisex bathrooms there is no need to allow trans-anyone into the opposite sex bathroom.

My grandchildren go to private school. They're all a minimum of two grade levels ahead of where their public school counterparts are testing.

In the other thread on this same subject I posted the law on this. OSHA requires separate sex bathrooms.
