I hate hearing about this.....it just tells me time is catching up with all of us.

Saw them on March 18, 1968 at the Anaheim C/C.

RIP Jack Bruce

As one of my musician Facebook friends said, "I always thought Ginger Baker would go first."

His one and only work with Zappa, and it was amazing. Jack Bruce on bass.

He's now in a White room with Black curtains feeling the Sunshine of our Love.........RIP

Damn sad to hear this. Cream was amazing....Bruce was amazing.

How the hell old is Ginger Baker now? He has to be well into his 70s.

HBO I think it was had a one hour documentary about him a few months back. Worth watching. He said sometimes he and Bruce would go in to a trance playing (jamming) together. True, I don't know how he remains alive. I think some of Creams music was the best ever done.

The amazing thing is Cream were only together barely 3 years, to make such an impact. He did a couple of songs with Rory Gallagher, Irish bluesman extraordinaire, who also died with liver problems. The back and forth is sublime.

I'd love to see that.

Baker has spoken publicly since Bruce died. Interesting retrospective on their relationship, on Bruce, and on Cream, which was one of the greatest groups in history.
