Palin Endorses Independent-Democratic Ticket for Alaska Governor Against GOP Successo

Re: Palin Endorses Independent-Democratic Ticket for Alaska Governor Against GOP Succ

Hi Van,

Palin actually submitted her resignation in early July 2009, and it was about a 3 week notice. She resigned 8 months after she ran with McCain.

Good to know, but none of this validates WillyPete's position.

I disagree with his position as well. Just wanted to clarify since you seemed to think you weren't sure.

Well that is interesting. I wonder what Parnell did to piss her off?

Must have been something fierce for her to endorse a pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage democrat, or maybe she just finally lost it.

I guess I take oaths more seriously than some. I don't much care for Palin's politics, but I always felt she was given a raw deal in the press until she resigned. Breaking an oath without an acceptable (to me) reason is the death of credibility (to me.)

She walked away from the responsibility she swore to handle, as best as we can tell she did it to make more money. Why should we believe this celebrity opportunist isn't simply being paid for her endorsement?

The GOP incumbent she is now opposing was the guy she handed the reigns to. He was good enough for her to make governor then, and as her lieutenant governor, but not now? What does that say about Palin as a judge of character?
