101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West Afric

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

You dont understand what you are reading.

Its clear that when Ebola is in the air it is at least as hardy as Influenza. Its also clear that coughing and sneezing is what makes Influenza airborne; the same should be expected of Ebola.

According to the Center for Aerobiological Sciences, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick, Maryland:

Got anything to say about these guys Mak. Post 243 was their Analysis. Any reason you skipped over them?

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

Instead of all your usual bull****, why don't you answer the question?

I'm going to have tacos for dinner tonight. Mexican style Tex-Mex tacos, tortillas fried in hog lard and topped off with Mexican bathtub cheese.

Those who share a bathroom with you have my condolences.

I haven't had to share a bathroom since I was discharged back in 1971.

I wonder if you can get Ebola from a toilet seat ?

Try again.....you don't seem to understand what they are saying about what they will be expecting. Or what the results of those tests point out. Nor how much further along than 3 weeks this strain has mutated.

What color was the discharge? Maybe that is why...

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

No one said anything about them not being able to handle anything. Wrong tangent.

Oh and reading is fundamental.....I have stated others in the Army, in the thread, several times.

Again if you are having a problem with a Sentence lets post that sentence up so that can be explained to you and you can show All what you don't understand.

Then maybe you can list the units of the right size, with the right capabilities, that have not deployed in at least the last 2 years(3 is better since it will be a long deployment), nor are scheduled to deploy for the next 3 years. Have fun finding that list, and without it you are just making mindless, poorly articulated whines.

New world-wide deployments: Who's going where

Roughly 60,000 soldiers have been tapped to cover a variety of global missions — and any problems that may arise — in five regions throughout fiscal 2014.

The designated units are:

REGIONAL SPECIALTIES
Army units that have been aligned to world regions:
■ 1st Calvary Division, aligned with U.S. Africa Command.
■ 25th Infantry Division, aligned with U.S. Pacific Command.
■ 1st Armored Division, aligned with U.S. Central Command.
■ 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Calvary Division, aligned with U.S. European Command.
■ 48th BCT from the Georgia Army National Guard, aligned with U.S. Southern Command.
■ The 18th Airborne Corps will maintain its global response posture.

I am sure there are plenty of reservists and National Guard Units to.....Medical and Engineers as well as Clerks and Staff Officers to run a HQ.

But then you would have to know what you were talking about in the first place. Rather than TRY and PLAY like BO.....with winging it. Just sayin!

It wasn't Ebola I was referring to.

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

The won't be in the front line, so they don't need the suits.
Then there should be no guns held by any soldier EXCEPT those expected to see combat.

And which of those fit all the criteria for the mission? Do you even know all the criteria? Bet you don't. You just have to whine and cry about anything any one does. This thread was based on a quote out of context, built up into a lie, and then you add on fear mongering and mindless complaining about stuff you don't know about.

What do you consider to be a "long deployment" ?

The length of deployments today are actually short, the problem has been to many deployments.

The reason why soldiers and Marines have been redeployed so often is because of the over downsizing of our military during the 1990's. Not enough combat and support units to replace those units that have already been deployed and accomplished their tour of duty in-country.

You must have trouble keeping up.....I already named 3 groups that fit the criteria. No see that's another one of your fizzle moments about crying and whining. I never whine and cry to those that are inferior to me.

Oh and save all that BS about Fearmongering.....was ya scared lil fella? I didn't mean to scare you with some truths. Never fear, as fear is the little mind-killer that only hurts yourself.

Where did you list three groups, and what criteria did you use?

And I know how to actually read, so Ebola scare tactics don't work on me. So sorry little fella, you failed.

Torturing logic should be a war crime. Or do you expect the troops to shoot the sick?

I've just stopped engaging him on this, he's being unbelievable especially about the airborne thing, those couple of instances are absolutely uncorroborated and leads him into this frenzy... if Ebola was actually airborne this situation would be absolutely catastrophic and uncontrollable in a much larger region.

I think he actually believes the governments lying or something... which is absurd.

I don't know what MMC Is after, or what stake he has in creating panic about this, but I'll still be leaving my house today.

Oh I went with the basics. Those who know how to put up buildings, today they are called Army Engineers. We wouldn't want you to be confused on that point. Then those that are medical and know how to deal with medical equipment and handle medical procedures, That would be doctors and nurses to you, and then for the HQ I went with Clerks and Staff Officers. Which you should.....at the very least know what those are.

Also I wasnt trying to scare you.....you were the one that was scared about some fearmongering. Which is why you began shouting it out.

As for the reading ability.....you need to get in some more practice time. As you already admitted in front of all. Basic English words confuse you. Just sayin!

Know we understood them fine.....we just don't play with terminology like you and your brethren of the left do.

Also you were the one having trouble putting ALL they say together. While clinging to sneezing and coughing. While saying that's not aerosol or airborne.
