101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West Afric

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

I don't, because I'm fully aware of how ridiculous and weak that tactic is. If I'm ever reduced to mind reading people's motives, I'll know I've lost badly.

Per the example I posted

Read your article (again). Read it infinity times until you get it.

Are you trying to say that the president is no longer the commander in chief of the armed forces?

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

Retreating to the "If a Republican were in the White House..." argument every time your back is against the wall is just silly. Just admit you didn't read past the headline.

Did you figure the part about the troops being deployed are from the 101st? Airborne.....whats you excuse for sending Rangers in to go and build Hospitals rather than Army Engineers or Combat Engineers?

You weren't going to say the 101st specializes in construction of buildings were you?

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

Per the example I posted

Can you think of any other reason why you keep picking irrational arguments in the ongoing ebola story? Because I can't.

Are you trying to say that the president is no longer the commander in chief of the armed forces?

No, I'm saying you should re-read the article you linked to.

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

Yeah not like any people can come across them huh, Skipper?

....So don't shag them if they do.

You do know thar the president signs the deployment orders, such as the one issued in this deployment?

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

You should read the article too.

Here let me help you with your cornfuzzlement. Did you read the article. Just how did you miss this part? Leading the way.

The 101st Airborne is a U.S. Army modular light infantry division trained for air assault operations. The division was renowned for its role on D-Day. Major General David H. Petraeus (“Eagle 6″) led the Screaming Eagles to war in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.....snip~

Now what does that have to do with what I asked you. Circuitry working yet?

Read the article, MMC. Make like Tom Hanks in The DaVinci Code, and pore through every detail like the winning lottery numbers were hidden within it.

Didn't the Dallas nurses report their necks were uncovered?

I figured you would agree that none can say.....no one will come around or stop on by. Just sayin.

I read the article.....clearly you must not have. Now back to what you was asked. As all this BS you are talking about doesn't answer what was
brought your way. Still can't figure out the difference between Rangers and Army engineers? What causes your complete cornfuzzlement upon this?

Soldiers from the 101st Airborne will primarily be building hospitals, ultimately leading what could be a contingent of 4,000 American service members. They’ll be housed either in tent cities at military airfields or in Liberian Ministry of Defense facilities, Rodriguez said.....snip~

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

Appears to me to be routine military ignorance. Institutional stupidity. The soldiers deserve better.

Deserve better?

What is their mission? Do you imagine they will be changing bed pans or maybe setting up camps in the hot zone with no contact with the infected.

Would you like building a mobile hospital in a HazMat suit? These guys face down insurgents and they can handle working in a hot zone.

You are right they do deserve better...they deserve not to be thought of as chicken hearts.

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

When did the 101st become an engineering unit ?

I thought the 101st was a combat unit ?

I don't know Apdst.....as they can't seem to figure out the difference between Airborne Rangers and Engineers.

I want to know who imagined the Screaming Eagles......as carpenters, and how this mission can even be assigned to them.

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

Why do people building hospitals need to protect themselves with hazmat suits? Patients come after the hospital is built.

Why does an ambulance that carries someone infected with this disease need to be deconned? Why does an apartment that has has one infected in it need to be deconned and sanitized?

What does that collection of words mean? Is it some local colloquialism?

Back in 99 or 2000 I read a book about the Clinton administration. Supposedly Hillary Clinton was in some third world country and while being driven down some road she noticed all of the poverty and backwards farming. She turned around to one of her female minion companions and said, "We should have our military here digging wells and irrigation ditches for these people."

Every day the 101st isn't out on the range or in the field training for combat but instead sitting in sensitivity training classrooms or building hospitals in Africa, it lowers the combat efficancy of the 101st or any other combat unit that's not training for war. If you ever read the MacArthur Papers, Douglas touched on that, every day a soldier isn't training for war, the more he will bleed and die in combat.

Um. Because those are dealing with an area exposed to the virus.

A hospital that hasn't been built hasn't been exposed to the virus.

Are the people building these hospitals part of a combat unit or are you just assuming that because of the number?

Is hard to figure out that no one can say.....people who are infected wont come around or stop on by. That's a lot to handle isn't it? Those words just caused you go blank huh?

Did you need pictures?

Nah.....most read what was said? Do you know the difference between an Elite Combat Unit and Army Engineers?

Exactly.....and our troopers will be exposed to an area wherein it is the source and hot zone. Any objects handled or touched, huh?

Are you aware that half of the medical people in Liberia have been infected and died? Do you know what these people do with their dead? Their rituals and beliefs?

What ever happened to the Peace Corps ? It's what liberals joined to avoid the Army during the 60's.

Peace Corps

Re: 101st Airborne Won’t Get Full Protective Hazmat Suits for Ebola Mission in West A

It is truly unbelievable how silly the drones are about gobbling up anything Obama spews forth. Although, this is probably as much a function of their hatred for the military, as it is about their hive collective mindset.
