POTUS is supposed to be a global figurehead for stability.

Really, Mr President?
You think what we all need to hear that from you right now is that the whole planet’s going to hell in a handcart? YOU’RE the guy who’s supposed to be controlling it! Perversely, Obama then went on to infer he HAS got everything under control, boasting of how America’s had to tackle just about every major problem facing the world right now - ISIS, Ebola, Russia, climate change – virtually on its own.

Interestingly, he also deployed the word ‘we’ as he took credit throughout this speech – in direct contrast to the word ‘they’ he deployed last week when chucking his intelligence agencies under the bus for NOT stopping the rise of ISIS. I’ve never trusted bosses who say ‘we’ when talking about supposed success and ‘they’ when talking about failure.

Piers is actually correct in his observations. And in other news, our first ebola victim has died and a US Congressman is saying 10 ISIS fighters have been apprehended from our southern border.

Piers is actually correct in his observations. And in other news, our first ebola victim has died and a US Congressman is saying 10 ISIS fighters have been apprehended from our southern border.

So the leader of the free world was supposed to bomb Hassad, which would have made ISIS even stronger, and then he was supposed to attack ISIS in Iraq, which would have made the Sunni revolt even stronger, and then he was supposed to invade Libya, which would have made the militias even more anti-American . . .

Oh you get it -- Bush's foreign policy all over again.

I can't be sure if this man is really this incompetent, or if he's doing a good job of seeing to it that the country he disdains gets its comeuppance. As tirelessly as many of the members of his rear guard run this country down, I suspect he doesn't have much more time for it than they do.

Obama is worse, and public opinion reflects that. Its one reason the dems will lose the senate next month-Obama being a weak leader.
