Stephen Collins: Wife says he's a pedophile that refuses to get help.

7th Heaven was a very successful series. A family show, he played the dad of the family who happened to be a minister...Reverend Camden. ha ha Jessica Biel practically grew up on that show. He was also in Star Trek.

Never watched a single episode, but thanks for the picture. I have never watched Star Trek, either - the movies or the TV show. I knew him only because I watch an embarrassing amount of movies, and I have this gift of putting the face with the name when it comes to actors/actresses.

He also played Bruce Mathis on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Me too. I only know him from 2 movies - "Her Final Fury: The Betty Broderick Story" (with Meredith Baxter - he played Betty's husband Dan who she shot) and he was also in "The First Wives Club" as Diane Keaton's husband.

ETA there were 2 Betty Broderick movies. He was in both. He got shot in the first one and the second one showed him in reminiscing scenes.

As someone that has seen his fair share of family court/divorce court, I can tell you without any hesitation that claims such as these are to be taken with a hefty does of salt. they almost never bear any truth.

He admitted it. Did you not listen to the tape?

Nope, was just commenting on the general theme.

But thanks!

There is a video confession from him about doing it.

She recorded it without his knowledge, but he did admit to doing it.

Edit: It might be audio.

Given the evidence that's come out since I posted originally, it is obvious that this guy is horrible and has done horrific things with innocent little girls. He should be castrated and then put in general population with the biggest bubba's we can find.

Honestly? I didn't think the guy would make it 'til morning. If I had a dead pool running, he'd be at the top of the list. Horrible, I know, but - and this is in my uneducated opinion on the subject -- people who prey on children usually seem pretty weak themselves. Maybe it's why they go after kids, because kids are less likely to tell them no, than the pretty woman in the office that they've had their eye on. And that weakness of character that allows them to prey on children, and that weakness in the self-esteem department, also is a weakness in the accountability department, and also possibly a weakness in the will-to-live department.

Look at Ariel Castro, the guy from Cleveland who held those women hostage for all those years. He couldn't be accountable for what he did to those women, for years, so he hung himself in his jail cell.

Act of cowardice. I had hoped he would live a very long and healthy life in prison.

But very different circumstances and men here although what they apparently have in common is pedophilia.

Pedophiles and predators are nothing new to Hollywood. One of the stars from Little House on the Prairie wrote about her experience as a victim. Her name is Allison Arngrim. She played Nellie. In her book called "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch" she tells of being abused. She went on to tell that these predators are very careful who they choose to violate. It is either the child of a parent who does not stay on the set or one who will turn their head and allow such a thing to happen so their kid can make the big bucks that will benefit them. They are often drug junkies, needing the money for their next fix or just damn money hungry they will look the other way. To most that sounds pretty sickening, but unfortunately there are a number of folks with talented kids in it for the money and turn their head the other way when crap like this is going on so not to rock the boat and collect a sweet paycheck their child earned them. Corey Feldman, one of the biggest child actors of the 80's, dropped some bombshells in his tell-all book "Coreyography." He detailed rampant child sexual abuse in the entertainment industry including his own. He also told about the asswipe dad he had that encouraged him to get high on dope while they were together. A way of easing both their pain I suppose. The dad for allowing it and the son that had to endure it. One can only hope there is a special place in Hell for a parent like that. So Collin's wife claims he's a pedophile that won't get help. Really? Did she get concerned after Collins was exposed? Where was she when he was violating young girls? Too interested in the money he was making to open her mouth? ......Bitch.

How the heck can his wife have known and not be charged?

Also I must admit that I have never heard of the guy and never heard of 7th Heaven. Had to Google both. I'm not sure what that means.

It has to do with Faye Grant(Collin's wife) claiming Collins molested 3 under-aged girls over a decade ago. There is proof of a confession. At least two of these girls were molested over the course of several years. Collins and his wife are going through a divorce. She threatened to release a video tape of his confessions in a therapy session over millions in a settlement she was seeking. When that didn't happen she released the video. So here we are. The bitch knew he was molesting little girls but was holding out for more money in a divorce settlement before exposing him. In my opinion she and Collins should both be hog tied to the back of a pickup and drug through town. Amazing what people will turn their head to in the name of the almighty dollar.

That's disgusting! Pure slime, both of them. I've missed nothing not knowing who they are. Hopefully the girls will sue both the bastards and get the money while Collins and his wife are manned off to jail.

I agree, but until "Your Star" posted his basic confession, it was just he said, she said. He's now a monster in my mind.

Well several of us saw it on the news before Your Star posted the link on here. It wasn't he said/she said to those of us who heard the confession on tape.

Agree. I hope she gets in trouble for this too, because in my opinion, she's just as guilty as he is. Whether he gets help or not, if she knew he was doing it, it was her responsibility to turn him in to the police. By not doing so, so is guilty too.

I was pretty shocked by this, unlike Woody Allen who comes off as odd and quirky, Stephen hid his monster quite well. I'm actually surprised his victims never spoke out. His wife will not be seen as the hero, she will be seen as the vindictive person that she is.

And one of the victims was a relative of hers, yes?

If she knew and held onto this info to use as a weapon, she's as contemptible as he is, maybe more. Pedophiles are sick. Abusing children is the most depraved of acts, but what is the wife's excuse for her moral bankruptcy?

I hadn't.

One thing that you can rely on me to do, is to condemn any harm done to a child. I also know that some women when going through a divorce will make terrible claims about the man - a woman scorned type of thing - and men can do the same toward the woman, so regarding claims made during a divorce, I tend to give both sides the benefit of the doubt.

If I had heard the confession on tape, like you guys did, I would never have given him the benefit of the doubt.

I hope that explains my previous comments, and clears up any doubt you guys may have had about my motives.

Not to mention that Hollywood does not seem to have any apparent revulsion to Roman Polanski and Gérard Depardieu. They were both guilty of raping 16 year old girls.
