Another Side Of The Story Emerges For The Sarah Palin Family Brawl

I went back to college when I was 47 and got my Bachelor of Science degree when I was 50, University of Houston. It didn't do me much good, I ended up staying in the machine shop. But, like you said, it takes time. I went to school sometimes four times a week and then took some classes on Saturday. I worked full time while I was doing this. I didn't have rich parents. Maybe you are just looking for a rational excuse for why you quit.

I dropped out so many times, mostly due with money, even books were expensive back then. I finally got my BA when I was 31 and the degree has nothing to do with my profession. Just something to hang on the wall.

So you did finish. You said one semester and how much it cost. I, wrongly, assumed you didn't finish. Congratulations! You know then what it takes. You are right when you say it's just something to hang on the wall. I could make more staying a machinist than I could using my diploma to get a "better" job. The main reason I got my degree was because I dropped out of high school; I was determined to finish college.

I know a guy who earned a BS in engineering. After college he became a painter. I know someone who passed the California Bar in the early 70's, he decided to drive a truck and today he owns a small trucking company with 40 trucks.

There you have it, people. Apparently, how you handle drunken brawls give some sort of insight into geopolitical decision making. It's like every post Apacherat makes is a parody of what rabid right wingers would say. I don't believe he really is a conservative. There's just no way a person could subconsciously shut off the part of their brain dealing with non-sequiturs to the extent that they actually think screaming "Do you know who he is!" or "Do you know who I am?" have any relevance to decision making on a global scale. He's mocking extremist right wingers and having a good chuckle.

For me this is pretty much a non-story she hasn't been a viable candidate in years, however, the article does say that what she actually said was "do you know who he is he's a veteran" rather than "do you know who I am?"
