President Obama sets ISIL speech for 9 p.m. Wednesday

President Barack Obama will deliver an address to the nation on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the president will deliver the speech from the State Floor of the White House and will “discuss with the American people the threat posed by ISIL and to lay out the United States’ strategy for degrading and ultimately destroying the terrorist group.”


The president said over the weekend that he intends to use the speech as a means for “preparing the country to make sure that we deal with a threat from ISIL.”


“This is not going to be an announcement about U.S. ground troops,” Obama said in an interview with NBC News’s Chuck Todd. “This is not the equivalent of the Iraq War. What this is is similar to the kinds of counterterrorism campaigns that we’ve been engaging in consistently over the last five, six, seven years. And the good news is is that because of American leadership, we have I believe, a broad-based coalition internationally and regionally to be able to deal with the problem.”

Going to be a very interesting speech on the day before 9/11. He is claiming not to expect more US troops boots on the ground. Im expecting when we use force its going to be something that of the actions we took in Libya. None the less will be an interesting speech the day before the anniversary of 9/11

As that is 9 AM September 11, in Tehran, I wonder if he will be announcing an attack already underway?
