All violence, demonstrating looting and rioting could end immediately ... All that need be done is to charge the murderer with murder.

There is no murderer here.
So if he was charged with such just to appease a bunch of idiotic animals, it would be a travesty of justice.
What you want to do is falsely charge the person, and that is just wrong.
What you suggest is no better than what these animals suggest.

2 People shot and 31 arrested in Ferguson Mayhem.
Police, protesters collide again in Ferguson.....
The National Guard arrived in Ferguson but kept its distance from the streets where protesters clashed again with police, as clouds of tear gas and smoke hung over the St. Louis suburb where Michael Brown was fatally shot by a police officer.
Capt. Ron Johnson of the Missouri Highway Patrol, who is in charge of security in Ferguson, said bottles and Molotov cocktails were thrown from the crowd and that some officers had come under heavy gunfire. At least two people were shot and 31 were arrested, he said. He did not have condition updates on those who were shot. Johnson said four officers were injured by rocks or bottles.....snip~

Office Johnson also stated that many of these incidents with the police are from those out of state.....also the Press is whining and crying about their people being arrested. Including Foreign Press? It is the press that has driven this issue and are making it about the Police. Take a look at this photo.....its what is up on Yahoo their Front Page with this Story being reported 47 mins ago.
Why don't the community just start chasing off All those that are not from Ferguson, the surrounding area and Missouri.
Besides the New Black Panthers, Jesse and Sharptones stirring up their usual.....who are the others that are going after the police?

Did anybody watch the National Guard press conference and where after the guy spoke, they then had a "White" Christian minister make a statement of support for the troops and with references to the "Legality" of God's Laws and that government laws serve as being God's Law. That God would approve of the action about to be taken against these protesters?
Was this "White" minister claiming that his God or that his communications with God are more truthful or more valid than the black preachers from within the community itself who are supporting the protesters? (Al Sharpton is not from the community.)
The Poor Folks all across America have been told since childhood that they should ignore the inequalities and perceived injustices which surround them, and to let the Rich Folks enjoy their inordinate amount of wealth because the Poor Folks will be rewarded in Heaven.
Sort of like the 72 Virgins in Heaven like what the religious preachers tell the Poor Folks within the Middle East as they complain about these same societal issues.
Same kinda Sh?t ..... but a different pile.
And worse ..... The Rich Folks get to enjoy their wealth and enjoy the afterlife too.

Then there was those who were poor and who worked hard to get what they want in life and made their American Dream. Becoming Rich.
So much for the BS with economic class......this has nothing to do with Wealth disparities.

All things being "Equal" .... you may have a point.
But there are huge disparities of opportunity between the white and visible minority communities and in every sector from early education and then onto work placements.
If the system itself has been proven decade after decade to be "Racist", then obviously your view fails to recognize this fact.

No all things weren't equal.....some people were very poor and had to work harder than others to make their dream come true.
Again this issue doesn't have to deal with wealth disparities. So no, the War on the Wealthy.....doesn't apply in this case.

I think there is more to the story. A investigation shouldn't take this long. Either the police is lying or the "witnesses" are lying. Personally I would like to see Brown's little friend arrested for being an accessory to the robbery. I can't stand when that little twerp runs his mouth and it seems every news agency wants to stick a microphone in his mouth. Secondly I think the "Josie" audio is just as bad. If the officer told her all that then he is just as stupid as her for running her mouth on a radio call in show.
Either way someone is lying, however this is going to end badly. This makes Trayvon Martin and Rodney King seem like a peaceful group.

I don't know for sure who the "others" are but I suspect that they are from the hardcore Communist and Anarchist groups that tend to show up at these kind of events.
There is a contingent in this country that believes that the only way to social equality is through violent revolution and the overthrow of the bourgeoisie (they no longer use that term). They foment civil unrest first by promoting the idea that economic success, and therefore social success, is only achieved through oppression and then reinforce that idea by creating situations where that oppression can be graphically catalogued. For example, they will take actions during a peaceful protest which necessitate a police response then photograph that response as evidence of brutal oppression of innocents.
The cops have an incredibly difficult job in a situation like we have in Ferguson. They will see two people "peacefully protesting" by holding a sign but while one of those people is holding the sign to get their point across the other is holding the sign to block the view to their buddy who just took a molotov cocktail out of his backpack and tossed it at the cops.

How as police do you deal with a situation where you have lots of innocent protestors and a handful of extremists masquerading as protestors, purposely trying to incite violence? And press meanwhile swarming over everything with their big cameras and lights competing with each other for the best pictures and sensationalizing the situation?
This is an impossible situation. On the one hand, the police could set up a strict curfew for several nights, prohibiting protests after dark, which would allow them to better patrol and police the area, but which they have been reluctant to do because it will further enflame tensions and in the eyes of some raise First Amendment issues. Or they could demilitarize and cut down their numbers, and hope that the sight of fewer armored cars and weapons and riot gear will somehow incentivize instigators not to throw rocks and molotov cocktails at them or to stop looting.
This is not going to end well. Frankly, I think it's somewhat of a miracle this has not devolved into something much worse than it has already. Despite all the sensationalist reporting, this is nothing close to a war zone. In any other country these forces would be flat out arresting everyone or attacking protestors with clubs, or worse. Tear gas is dangerous, mind you, but it's the most effective means of dispersing a crowd that doesn't want to be dispersed that we have, short of physical violence.
(As you can probably tell, this isn't so much of a reply to you as it is a general rant)
