RAYMONDVILLE, Texas -- Two illegal immigrants from Mexico who were charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of an off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent in front of his family in Texas have been arrested and deported numerous times, police sources told FoxNews.com.

One suspect has been arrested no fewer than four times for entering the U.S. illegally, according to federal court records. The other has been deported twice after entering the U.S. illegally, sources said.

Gustavo Tijerina, 30, and Ismael Hernandez, 40, were arraigned Tuesday afternoon inside the Willacy County jail library. They were ordered held without bail after being charged with capital murder of a peace officer, attempted murder, and a variety of lesser charges.

The pair, who have been living in Texas illegally, confessed after being interviewed multiple times Monday to killing Border Patrol agent Javier Vega Jr. in front of his wife and two kids and his parents Sunday night while they were fishing in Santa Monica, Sheriff Larry Spence told FoxNews.com. The National Border Patrol Council, the union that represented Vega, has set up a memorial fund on behalf of his widow and three young children.

They finally confessed to the robbery and indicated they knew they had killed someone, but did not know it was an off-duty Border Patrol agent, Spence said in an interview in his office Tuesday morning.

Well, if one were to slide by the Progressive Machine websites, it appears the instructions are out to make a big deal out of Ferguson, so their pandering to illegals will get off the front pages of the newspapers.

I think it is appropriate to remember that Blacks have been hard hit by the recession, and Progressives have pretty much thrown them aside in order to exploit the illegal alien issue. It's going to be critical in November to have Blacks back in flock, so the media will follow orders and ignore the reality of Obama's illegal alien invasion, and focus on the racial issue. It's all part of the Progressive Machine manipulation of the people who have bought their snake oil.

How horrible, robbery gone bad and a young man died in front of his family. The promise of closing the border year after year is a joke, make me sad when we lose good people to butt wipes.

The Big networks not covering it, is not a surprise - left wing outlets don't cover anything that doesn't fit perfectly into the liberal agenda.

There are about 40 murders a day in the USA so this case has already garnered infinitely more attention that most of them ever will.

Obama won't make any comments about this incident in Texas because it is not to his political advantage.

Remember...everything Obama does is about politics. Nothing he does is about the law or about what's right.

Why?

With all due respect to the deceased, it's just another homicide. There are 30 homicides using firearms every day. No additional attention is required, just because the perpetrators are illegal immigrants, or the victim was an off-duty border agent.
