R.I.P. Skye McCole Bartusiak - age 21

She was the youngest daughter in The Patriot. (the one who didn't speak)

Sad she was all lone when she passed :(

May she rest in peace and tranquility
 
This is just a reminder that we never know when death comes a knocking.

Well, she was living at her parents. Not "alone". It was probably Sudden Unexpected Seizure Death.
Not real common. But it does happen.

Thank you, but sadly this is what the mother had stated in the article:

"We think she had a seizure and choked and nobody was there," her mother said.

I believe that to be she was alone when she passed on, nobody was with her.

Should not have eaten alone. I read another article where her mother had performed CPR on her before. But this time didn't get to her in time. I believe her boyfriend had come by and found her.
Tragic to be sure, but someone with a history of seziures should not eat alone or if they do, take very small bites. Chewing can stimulate an onset of seizures in some forms of epilepsy.
Sadly epilepsy is one of those problems were there is very little public knowledge on and even smaller amounts of well funded research.
