R.I.P. - James Garner dead at 86

When I was a kid, dad would watch Rockford Files religiously. At first it was just time to be with dad, but I got to where I enjoyed the show in its own right.

Same here - I wanted a gold firebird for my first car forever.

When did you get the haircut??

You're very kind not to mention whatever it is he has up his nose - now that isn't something you see every day! I didn't even notice the haircut till you mentioned it! :lamo:

What things up his nose? Some of us older men get really adventurous nose hairs.

My dad was a fan of the 'Rockford Files', may he rest in peace....

We have bipartisan agreement. Garner was a diamond. A true American icon IMO.

The Rockford Files were epic. Issac Hayes calling him Rockfish. Stuart Margolin (Angel) being a worm. What wasn't to love?

He was just easy to like.

My Fellow Americans with James Garner and Jack Lemmon was pretty funny.
