Video shows illegals being dropped off at NC Wal Mart with EBT cards...

They had EBT cards, didn't speak English, and were dropped off by a City Owned school bus. What appears to not be a fact is that they are not here illegally.

Tim-

What did we learn here today?

Assuming someone is an illegal because they are Mexican does border the line of racism, sorry.

Mexican and central American, no matter. The whole scene was suspect and I too would have made the same assumption and most here would. Well those that were being honest that is. In case you haven't noticed Obama is busing thousands of these "illegals" to far away places. In context, and contemporaneous with the scandal on the border. It was, in short, and honest mistake.

What did we learn here today?

That legal migrant workers are eligible for EBT cards, and that some people can make mistakes when all the facts are not present.

Tim-

Why not deport them immediately? Why do they need to go shopping when they should be fed in a locked facility until they are deported? Most importantly why do you need to go to the extreme of letting them "starve to death?" With unrealistic discussions like this from the open border radical left how can we even discuss the issue?

Why would we lock up legal immigrants here on work visas?

This thread cracks me up. Arizona state legislator (R) Adam Kwasman just made a statement that he witnessed a bus full of immigrants and
I was actually able to see some of the children in the buses. The fear on their faces... This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law."
The kicker is that those scared immigrants were children from the Marana school district. They were heading to the YMCA's Triangle Y Camp. Assuming that a non-english speaking brown person is illegal is ass jackery.

So the fact that they had EBT cards, and didn't speak a word of English wasn't a clue.. ;)

This video is a first hand witness account. How many times do you see a group of brown, non English speaking people with EBT cards get moved around by yellow "City owned" school buses? yeah that happens everyday in America. :)

Tim-

One of the You tube comments said they were work visa migrant workers from a local farm but, we've heard that story before. Not sure why they would get welfare cards.

Oh yeah, she's a real super slueth reporter taping a bus from a distance making generalized untrue statements about them.

Well now we know she's qualified to wot for MSNBC.

We could imprison them, as I said, and feed them. But then they'd still be on the government dime, so I was removing that.

We can't deport them immediately because the laws about people from Honduras or Guatemala and the laws about people from Mexico are different. While I know that Obama's record as far as "following the law" has been a bit spotty, at least he's trying to in this case.

Neither do I, and now it seems that this claim that the workers were legal workers might be fabricated, but I'm checking into it. The claim comes from the farmer according to TP members in the area, but regardless, why do they have EBT cards?

Farmer is pulling a scam?

Opps apparently some states give foods tamps to legal migrants.

Are all brown folk suspect? Should all brown folk have to show their papers? Should brown people be confronted and asked while shopping at Walmart...if they are legal?

I know I'm casting pearls before swine here, but think about it in context of current events. This supposedly transparent admin has decided we just don't get to know who they are letting in, how many, or where they will be placed. The ONLY way we have a chance of knowing is if the man on the street pays attention and reports. In THIS case, we're actively looking for brown people being transported by government using government funds.

So, no to your ridiculous strawman, but yes to being aware of busloads of brown people that don't speak English using EBT cards.

No the law is the same and we can indeed deport them. You're back to relying on a debunked argument, I suppose you think folks won't notice and if you repeat it enough it'll become the operating truth. The law you refer to deals with trafficking victims, NOT your standard illegal alien.

Are you a lawyer?

We've already established that you'd rather sit on our hands and wait for Congress to pass a bill specific to this. Since that doesn't apply, you'd rather that the President make a decision about "this law doesn't apply," which isn't much different than just not enforcing the law. You don't want him to enforce the law, you want him to make executive actions that you like.

**** I hate cell phone videos!

and that whiny voice is almost as annoying as listening to Janet Yellen speak.... almost but not quite ;)

Liberals need to get used to the fact that Americans are talking about the devastating effects on the United States of overwhelming numbers of illegal "Mexicans and other Hispanics, Brown People" etc.

IT IS NOT RACISM, IT IS CONCERN FOR AMERICAN CULTURE, COUNTRY AND WAY OF LIFE.

They are the ones coming here so they are the ones talked about.

Are you? What does that have to do with anything we're talking about? The POTUS knows why this law was created and that it doesn't apply here. At least he should, considering it was his job to know at the time of passage. It's you who doesn't want him to enforce the law. Otherwise the illegals you seek to shelter would be on their way back home.

Your interpretation of the law is that it doesn't apply. You don't want him to enforce it, you want him to deport them immediately regardless of the law. You want him to take executive action or do nothing until Congress passes a law about this problem specifically.

Question: If it was his job to know what was in the law, why do you assume that you know more about it than he does?

another daughter of immigrants bitching about immigrants. it would be funny if it weren't sad.

before laying into me with righteous rage, think about what your own ancestors went through. i think about that sometimes.

I don't think anybody should get ebt cards in the first place, so there. Eliminate all welfare programs.
