Obama administration drops investigation into CIA spying on US Senate

Eh - I didn't. I mentioned it as an example of the Oversight Committee being nothing more than a Republican bulldog without teeth. They investigated steroid use by Barry Bonds and Terry Schiavo's case but refused to do anything about issues during Republican administration. Why? Guess who runs the committee. Reading comprehension is your friend.

Lmao, people now lawyer because they break laws and not to protect themselves from accusations. Yes, we know apdst - when people lawyer up it's cause they're guilty.

Lerner did...

Wow rewriting some history for your radical leftist buddies I see.

1. ACORN lost significant public funding, forced to rename itself and isn't all that it was before the House did it's job.
2. People lost their jobs over F&F just not the right ones.
3. Discovered the audacity of this regime to lie to the world and nation on facts and details it knew to be false.
4. If he hadn't have asked about a stand down order our media sure wouldn't. Maybe if your beloved regime wasn't such a lying pitiful example of cess he wouldn't have to ask.
5. Oh and the IRS again he does journalists works for them, and found more then a smidgen of lies and deceit by the lost hard drive leftist.
6. CIA scandal was launched by Di Fi not Issa....so much failure.

Might I suggest some thing other then the DNC for your talking points. It makes you look stupid.

His investigation go nowhere? Eh his investigations go nowhere because they have no traction to begin with. Think about it.

1. Issa started with ACORN. Got nowhere.
2. Then went into F&F and got... where.
3. Then he moved on to Benghazi, and found that as the attacks were going on the WH was calling up YouTube to have the video taken down.
4. Then he backtracked on what he had meant by stand down order.
5. So he moved on to the IRS and... all he got was a giant middle finger then complained because people weren't cooperating with him after he started his 3rd phishing expedition.
6. So now he's into the CIA/Senate "scandal" - and he just basically got told to come up with grounds for an investigation other than "big big meanies!"

How long until he starts his next investigation that'll go nowhere because all he's doing is going "I don't like this bad ju-ju!"

Of course you did considering you've spent the better part of your last 2 posts trying to make it seem as a problem that someone uses their constitutional rights to defend themselves.

He's scum because he's shown himself to not be even remotely interested in the results of his investigations as long as the campaign contributions keep rolling.

LOL !!

No, he's " Scum " because he dare challenge your President, your Political affiliation and your ideology.

Hell, just behonest. Don't pretend you're anymore interested in " results " than every paid liar thats had a hand in obstructing this investigation.

Hard to get any results when every corrupt Liberal that sits in front of him offers up nothing but BS lies and 5th amendment pleas.

Issa's doing his job. The House is Constitutionally mandated to provide oversight and he heads the Committee that's responsible for getting to the bottom of the IRSs ADMITTED targeting based on Political ideology.

You're pissed because the more he does his job the worse Obama and the Democrats look and the best you can do, the best any Liberal apologist can do is to attack him personally.

Hillarious.

AGAIN, the Democrats could put a stop to this tomorrow if they wanted to.

Just answer the damn questions honestly and come up with ALL of the subpoenaed documents.

Why wouldn't they ? Its a BS Politically motivated witch hunt, right ?

Your diatribe is noted and ignored. However here are the facts:

1. Darrell Issa's investigation have produced absolutely nothing that Obama can be impeached on.
2. As Darrell Issa's investigations have doubled, so have his campaign contributions.
3. Darrell Issa has yet to do more than subpoena and hold hearings that nobody watches.
4. There is absolutely nothing criminal/wrong/immoral/incriminating about pleading your constitutionally guaranteed 5th amendment.
5. You complain too much about the fact that these facts exist.

Are there any facts in that post you'd like to dispute?

well, at least you are honest in not wanting to investigate the administration or hold them accountable... most folks don't have the courage to express such radical opinions.

Wow rewriting some history for your radical leftist buddies I see.

1. ACORN lost significant public funding

Lmao, ACORN's was defunded by the Obama administration itself with a bill passed bipartisanly! This defunding accounted for less than 10% of its total funding! I purposely placed it there because Issa literally had nothing to do with this investigation and yet you guys actually think his "investigation" led to that. Hook-line-sinker.

Congress Votes to Strip ACORN of Federal Funding | Fox News

The House voted 345-75 to strike ACORN funding from a student aid bill with two voting present.

Later, the Senate voted 85-11 to eliminate ACORN funding from an Interior Department spending bill.

Lmao.

forced to rename itself and isn't all that it was before the House did it's job.

The House did it's job? Lmao.

ACORN 2009 undercover videos controversy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On December 22, 2009, the Congressional Research Service (CRS) released a report on ACORN activities, commissioned by the House Judiciary Committee. It stated that ACORN has not been found to violate any federal regulations in the past five years. In addition, findings included: There were no instances of voter fraud by individuals who were allegedly registered to vote improperly by ACORN or its employees; No instances where ACORN violated terms of federal funding in the last 5 years. The CRS found that O'Keefe and Giles may have violated Maryland and California laws banning the recording of face-to-face conversations without consent of both parties.[104][105]

On March 1, 2010, the District Attorney's office for Brooklyn determined that the videos were "heavily edited" to give a misleading impression,[7] and concluded that there was no criminal wrongdoing by the ACORN Brooklyn staff filmed in the videos.[8] A law enforcement source said, "They edited the tape to meet their agenda."[9][109]

The AG Office's report stated, "ACORN was not the criminal enterprise described by O'Keefe in his 'Chaos for Glory' statement – it did not receive billions in federal funds and did not control elections. ACORN is, however, disorganized and its operations were far from transparent, leaving it vulnerable to allegations of illegal activity and misuse of funds."[10]

On June 14, 2010, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) released its findings on ACORN, by then disbanded. It said that there was no evidence that the group, or any of its related organizations, mishandled any of the $40 million in federal money that they had received in recent years.[15][112]

2. People lost their jobs over F&F just not the right ones.

So nothing happened. Alright.

3. Discovered the audacity of this regime to lie to the world and nation on facts and details it knew to be false.

So nothing.

4. If he hadn't have asked about a stand down order our media sure wouldn't. Maybe if your beloved regime wasn't such a lying pitiful example of cess he wouldn't have to ask.

There was no stand down order!

http://news.yahoo.com/officers-no-stand-down-order-benghazi-062821082--politics.html

Military officers testified that there was no "stand-down order" that held back military assets that could have saved the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans killed at a diplomatic outpost and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya. Their testimony undercut the contention of Republican lawmakers.

5. Oh and the IRS again he does journalists works for them, and found more then a smidgen of lies and deceit by the lost hard drive leftist.

So he's done nothing really.

6. CIA scandal was launched by Di Fi not Issa....so much failure.

I didn't say otherwise. I said he was into it, not that he had launched an investigation and just like clockwork:

Issa Rips CIA Over Feinstein Spying Allegations: 'Treason'

“I think Senator Feinstein is as outraged as anyone and I share her outrage. I think the violation of the Constitutional separation of powers should be an offense of the highest level—virtually treason,” Issa told Breitbart News on Tuesday.

“Spying on the executive branch—spying on Congress or violating the separation of powers as to the Supreme Court or as to Congress is effectively treason. Treason—it’s written up in the Constitution,” Issa said of Feinstein’s revelations, adding, “I don’t know who gave the orders, but to spy on other branches is in fact a constitutional violation at the level of high crimes and misdemeanors and certainly should cause the removal of anyone involved.”

Might I suggest some thing other then the DNC for your talking points. It makes you look stupid.

Lmao, this from the guy who counts "doint the journalist's job for them" as an accomplishment of Darrell Issa's investigations. From the guy who thinks Issa actually led the investigation which cleared ACORN of wrong-doing.

Yes when journalism gives a pass to corruption and incompetence it's up to the opposition to investigate and do what they can. It's sickens me when someone wants to condone the failures of their beloved dictator without as much as a cry foul. You want an inept failure in govt go live in central or South America we don't need that way of life here. Anyone so extreme as you calling themselves a moderate should be ignored.

I accept your unconditional surrender. Next time, read up on the investigations you're trying to back up. It may save you from looking really bad. Remember when you believed Issa's non-existent investigation had led to ACORN's defunding even though all investigations around the ACORN case cleared it of wrong-doing? ;)

Wow.

So its Issa's fault that the IRS illegally destroyed Federal records ?

Its Issa's fault hard drives for Lois Lerner and 6 other people involved in the investigation went missing ?

Its Issa's fault the President first vowed to get to the bottom of this only to declarethat there wasn't a " smidgen of corruption " ?

Its Issa's fault Lois Lerner first admitted to the targeting and then took the 5th 24 consecutive times ?

It's Issa's fault we have a corrupt AG who continues to cover for the President and the IRS

Man why don't you just admit that you think Conservatives SHOULD be illegally targeted by Federal agencies ?

Just admit that Issa's investigations should be stopped immediately because they make Obama and the Democrats look bad.

You're not convincing anyone that you have an issue is with Issa's lack of results.

His lack of results are keeping you from admitting you never had a problem with what Lerner did in the first place.

You are still complaining that Issa's investigations have produced absolutely nothing in 4 different investigations. I'm sorry that Issa hasn't produced anything other than egg on his face (see Issa revealing that the White House contacted YouTube as Benghazi was happening) and by extension: yours. However, as I said - none of that matters. For Issa what matters is getting his campaign contributions even if his unfounded accusations of wrongdoing lead nowhere and he can simply blame his failures on someone else. So much for the conservative mantra of personal responsibility. I think they should change it to "If I can't prove anything was done illegally! It's someone else's fault!"

In short, quit complaining.

LOL yeah that's why democrats stood by it....Ooops....talk about looking bad. I don't surrender to those who mislead others and use radical propaganda to promote their leftist agenda.

Stood by an investigation which Issa didn't conduct and which cleared ACORN of wrongdoing. Are you serious? Show me the congressional investigation by Issa which found ACORN guilty of the charges it brought. Lmao. You're far more uninformed on this than I thought. I purposely placed an investigation which Issa didn't conduct and which didn't find ACORN guilty of anything (as a matter of fact it cleared it) and you honestly think Issa not only conducted it but that it actually found ACORN guilty of something. LMAO.

There was no need to find them guilty of crimes they found them guilty of being ignorant....so much so even democrats had to join in defunding them. I guess you didn't get the memo....not surprised since it's not high on the DNCs distribution list.

How in the world can someone complain over Issa's investigations? Shouldn't they be complaining why there was a need for them in the first place? To say these hearings have produced no evidence of wrong doing is a blatant lie. If anything, they have shown this administration to be corrupt and just about every major figure in this administration has been caught in lies. What really frosts my flakes is how much this administration has cost the taxpayers because of their unwillingness to be transparent. Take for example all the man hours wasted in constant requests to get the administration to comply with documents and make themselves available for testimony? And when they do turn over documents, they look like this
state-secrets.png

The documents have been so redacted no one could make sense of them. However, Judicial Watch can go to court and sue under the Information Act and receive the same documents as Congress without redactions.

Here's Issa holding up a document to show the absurdity during the Fast and Furious hearings.

Here's another member of the Ways and Means Committee holding up documents so heavily redacted during the IRS hearings.

Even the cartoonists get it.

like i said, you don't support investigations or accountability.

it's nice to see you own that position... it takes courage.. or something.

They've produced more than you admit.

His results thus far have have had enough of a effect to produce some of the most desperate examples of blind partisanship I've seen in quite some time.

That means they've been effective.

Your pretense of objectivity as you ignore everything from the illegal destruction of evidence to out right lies to perpetual 5th amendment pleas is pretty entertaining too.

I guess you have to be a pretty loyal Obama supporter to ignore all of the stonewalling.

Too bad your loyalty isn't to the truth.

Except proof of any wrong doing.

Lol !

See, I told you Issa's investigations are having a impact. The more Issa digs the more disconnect there is between Libs and reality.

Lois Lerner ADMITTED in 2012 that the IRS had improperly targeted Conservative groups so YES, there is evidence of wrongdoing.

Actually there was a ADMITTANCE of Wrongdoing

But after that it was all blamed on nameless and faceless rogue agents in Cincinnati, which was later exposed as a LIE.

Those rogue agents testified under Oath that they were following orders given from the IRS HQ in Washington.

And then the lie of " Progressive groups " being targeted too.

7 Progressive groups were held up briefly and all recieved their Tax exempt status after answering a average of 2 extra questions each.

Yea, if you ignore all of that and the IRSs illegal destruction of highly relevent Federal records ( Lerner's Hard Drive and 6 other Hard drives that belonged to people who were being investigated ) that could have implicated the White House then you're right.

There's no proof any wrong doing at all...

The Chairman of the The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform conducting investigations in government over reach and failed programs is actually his job. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you.
