If you're up, awake and want to see a guy ride out Hurricane Arthur, LIVE, then go to his UStream page below. He's also setting up some remote cams to film the storm surge.

It's not very interesting at this point, but if you've never been through a hurricane, this will give you an idea of what it's like. At the time that I'm posting this, the eye of the storm is about an hour to two hours from where he is. So, you've got some time before the worst gets to him.

He's on the NC Outer Banks and is currently riding around setting up his other cams.

Anyway, I always tune into his UStream channel to see what's happening before I deploy or send any of my guys out, if I'm not there already. And, if I'm there already, his channel gives me a first hand look without going out in it myself. He should be streaming live all night, and also tomorrow morning after it passes.

Here's his live stream: USTREAM - Broadcast Live Streaming Video, Watch Online Events, Chat Live, send a Tweet, follow on Facebook, record your Live Shows

And, here's his regular web page: HurricaneTrack.com – News, Information, Live Hurricane Coverage - HurricaneTrack.com provides easy to understand hurricane news, information and live coverage of hurricane landfalls.

The Weather Channel just interviewed him live. It was interesting to see the delay from the TV to the Live Feed. The TV was much faster, which surprised me. I thought that the internet might have been faster than going through the TV's broadcast system, but no, I was wrong.

He's co-located with Jim Cantore with the Weather Channel right now. Kinda cool. Both will be live in just a few minutes deploying one of his surge cams.
