BREAKING: New Allegations Point to Cochran Campaign in Mississippi Senate Vote Buying Scandal | RedState

I was like this now you know, I worked very hard for Thad, and I got close to some people that in trouble in the loop and were doing some things that I witnessed and know about and threw money to people for it, that I know that’s against ethics and all of that, and ah, I’m supposed to get paid on the back end and I didn’t and then I said how many times do I have to get burned by people in politics that um you know say after the votes counted say “hey” and it don’t come, this is what they do, so, You all had your reasons for not liking what happened, I had my reason that was the pay, and um, like

Knowing what it would take to hand the district to him because he couldn’t stand up behind the allegations of proof that I would put out, um he would have to turn the district loose. I mean That’s all there is to it. You know I mean you don’t just throwin things out there that I don’t think nobody would frown if a person paid black people 15 dollars a vote to vote, you know what I’m saying. You know I, you let me know what you feel about it as we discuss it.

INTERVIEWER: you said you DON’T think that anybody would frown on it?

FIELDER: I said I DO think.

INTERVIEWER : I do too. I don’t think that that’s right.

Later

INTERVIEWER: So when you say 15 dollars per person to vote, how does that happen? What does that look like?

(Fielder shows interviewer text received from Saleem Baird)

Fielder : That’s just a text from one of the workers to me. Just scroll down now. Have to go through some things. ____ back up. And that was carried out numerous times. That’s basically 20 people times 15, that’s 300 dollars, a small scale they needed 10,000 votes, black votes, to make sure, that ah, that they would have enough to beat, ah, Chris.

The Interview

Cochran camp buying votes in the election?

Where's my popcorn?

Is anyone in the media world taking these claims seriously other than conservative blogs?

It's a very odd way of asking that question.

What is it with folks coming to the non-MSM board and complaining the story isn't a MSM source? Watch the interview and decide for yourself if there is something to the story.

The story just broke. I wouldn't expect it to come from MSM since they don't do investigative journalism anymore.

Did I say MSM?

:popcorn2: I'll share..... this should be entertaining.

I see a sub-plot back story already shaping... its a conspiratorial plan by unnamed powers to divide and conquer the conservative agenda utilizing Bloomberg's alter ego.... the imaginary and holographic image of the Koch brothers.

Jack Bauer and Chloe O'Brian will be on the scene as soon as they are done saving the world in London.

We're gonna' need more popcorn

This is better than the Sunday comics.

Jay and The Americans on the sound system playing "Only In America"

OK, so what non-MSM source would you accept?

Just saying since once Cochran won the election McDaniel supporters were screaming left and right fraud, and they were the only ones screaming this and just about the only people reporting this were conservative blogs.

As I said, this story broke an hour ago and the audio of the interview and images of the texts with Cochran's campaign manager are there for you to consume as you see fit. The source material that the story is written from is provided.

Re: BREAKING: New Allegations Point to Cochran Campaign in Mississippi Senate Vote Bu

And we have never know the libertarian wing of the Conservative party to ever make up a scandal before.....never right Ron Paul?

Those following the twitter hash-tag of #mssen or Charles C. Johnson knew hours ago this was going to be released.
Just an FYI.

Here is where the story was initially released.

What?
The fact that it was recently released just means it hasn't yet had enough time to make the rounds and be thoroughly vetted.
You understand that is what makes it "Breaking", right?

Re: BREAKING: New Allegations Point to Cochran Campaign in Mississippi Senate Vote Bu

Yeah well this story isn't over either. it seems that some of his votes came by democrats that voted 2 times.

Because the Left (thus MSM) doesn't care who won?

The funny thing about this story if it pans out is that the whole reason this guy is coming forward is because the Cochran camp didn't pay him for his services.

Yeah, they had numerous accounts of Democrats voting in the Democrat primary, changing party affiliation and then voting in the Republican primary. This is not allowed by Mississippi state law.

well i think MS has an open primary but they had people voting in both primaries. which isn't allowed you vote in one or the other.
the tea party candidate has already found 1,500 of these types of votes which makes them invalid. he is search other counties but is getting stone walled.

he has to find at least 7k but if he finds enough he could say that the election was fraud and get a run off.

If true, I seriously hope he is treated as a whistle blower and not a criminal.
What is sad is that it shows even a preacher will intentionally violate the law just because someone falsely claimed racist.

Actually he doesn't have to. Not to suggest widespread fraud.

Just finding relevant percentages in a few counties will be enough to support the claim.

A scandal is a scandal regardless of the party it originates from.

Yes, and Mississippi State law says that you are not allowed to voted in a primary unless you intend to support the winner of that primary. According to that law, McDaniel himself committed voter fraud. LOL.
