Immigrant Children Raped, Punched, Kicked in Border Patrol Custody: Complaint

If they were at home where they belong with their parents WHERE THEY SHOULD BE. NONE OF THIS WOULD be necessary.

Absolutely should be an investigation into why obama is not securing our border properly. Investigate into why the latino nations are telling their own people to invade America illegally and that they will not be turned away. Plenty of investigating to do so lets get it done.

These children are not sneaking across the border, but are running into the arms of the BP..

Ever heard of Elian Gonzalez?

Of course. What does he have to do with it? His father wanted him back in Cuba with him. I was against it at the time. That has nothing to do with this situation. But it can be compared to the Cuban refugee crisis.

It has everything to do with this situation. The US returned him to his family. I'm surprised you can't understand this.

Obama should be blamed for the strife in these South American countries?.. Do you want to send all the Cubans back to Cuba as well?

Central America.

From USA Today:

Why are so many children crossing now?

Gang violence in El Salvador and in urban areas of Guatemala has escalated dramatically in recent months since a weak truce among rival gangs has evaporated, said Elizabeth G. Kennedy, a Fulbright scholar reached Monday in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.

"Half of them are fleeing for their lives," she said.

Kennedy, investigating the causes of child migration, has interviewed more than 400 child migrants. For many, Kennedy said, "their decision is: Do I face possible death in migrating or sure death in staying?"

The gang violence "particularly affects youths," said Alison Ramirez, who works on a U.S.-funded violence-prevention project in El Salvador and who frequently visits Honduras and Guatemala. Questions surround surge in migrant kids left at border

So why are parents leaving them to fend for themselves? What's that called ? Oh yes, abandonment.

But now they are the USA's responsibility? :bs

No, these children are NOT our responsibility; they are their parents' and their governments' responsibilities. And they didn't make it to Mexico on their own, I don't think.

Here's one point I ponder: Under what circumstances would I allow my teenaged daughter to travel out of the country and unescorted?

If you recall its a federal issue. Federal law trumps state law. Please, get a clue.

The Governors are the commander and chiefs of their National Guard.

If her life was in danger?

Any time that any children are being raped, punched and kicked, it's obvious that they are not being well cared for.

Whoever was supposed to be taking care of these children needs to face a trial.

This sounds criminal to me.

Unless the accusations are false.

Anyone who can't take the heat needs to get out of the kitchen.

If they want to sit around and drink coffee, they can stay home.

But, thats not why they're crossing the border.

Why then do you think they are crossing the border and throwing themselves into the arms of the BP... They would have a long wait to be dreamers.

Um, no...that could be determined with an investigation
.

Which should probably be followed by a trial based on what I have read about how these children were mistreated and not taken care of properly by those who were well paid to do that.

From whatever.

There are lots of bad things going on all over this world.

And the USA appointed itself as the World Police a good while ago, so it needs to step up and do it's job.

Or shut up and get out of the way.
