White House apologizes to lawmakers over secret POW Swap.....

Really.....whos crapping their pants? Or is it more like you can't spy out who was catching the BS and lies put out by BO and His Crew, as they were popping up.

Seems its looking the **** is sticking all over BO and His Team.

The problem is the right has gotten their panties into a twist for every little thing Obama has does... well pretty much ever.

So one has to be cautious.

As a political nerd, if you think I wouldn't want to see impeachment proceedings for pure political sport, you'd be mistaken.

Bring his ass before a FULL Congress.....then chastise his ass.
Why?

The Senate is Dem Controlled, so no MATTER what Obama does, he's safe. He'll leave office and seal everything he did away till long after he's dead.

His and his administrations incompetence these last 5 years makes it so easy. He truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

BO has decided to appease Congress and now will come and grovel before them and the American people. As should be!!!!!

The White House apologized for keeping lawmakers in the dark regarding the exchange of an American soldier for five Taliban fighters, senators said Tuesday, as controversy grew over the issue. Administration officials plan a classified briefing for the full 100-member chamber Wednesday, with lawmakers from both parties fuming over the trade, which saw captured soldier Bowe Bergdahl released Saturday to US special forces in Afghanistan.

Feinstein reflected mounting bipartisan concern as lawmakers questioned the merits of releasing from Guantanamo five hardened Taliban fighters and officials in exchange for Bergdahl.

Seeking to mop up the political fallout, a senior White House official called Senator Saxby Chambliss, the Intelligence Committee's top Republican, late Monday "apologizing for not giving us advance warning," Chambliss said. Senate Democrat Carl Levin said Obama put Congress "on notice" last December in a signing statement saying he has constitutional authority to move quickly on detainees. And Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he was told of the swap Friday and that he supported the exchange. Democratic Senator Joe Manchin called the affair "very disturbing."

But few others openly backed the president. House Speaker John Boehner said the only reason Obama did not give the necessary notice "is because the administration knew it faced serious and sober bipartisan concern and opposition."

The swap will be debated in an open House hearing next week, with Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel invited to testify.....snip~

What say ye?

If someone other than the left's golden boy, a common ordinary citizen committed high treason would an apology get him out of it?

At least, your drooling blind support of the high lord Obama can be counted on.

As well as your frothing at the mouth opposition.

To Republicans & Conservatives: Good luck convincing the American public that bringing an American home was a bad decision.

With 84% of Americans worried about the release of these 5 hard core Taliban leaders will come back to haunt us, I think it is about time.

Here is the latest release of the poll.

45. Do you approve or disapprove of the United States releasing five Taliban prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay in exchange for the release of a US soldier who was being held as a prisoner of war in Afghanistan?
…………………Total……Dem…..Rep…..Ind
Approve……….45%..... 59%.....31%.. 41%
Disapprove……47%..... 32%.... 62%.. 49%

46. How concerned are you that negotiating with terrorist groups will encourage these groups to take more American soldiers hostage?
…………………………………..Total…..Dem…..Rep…..Ind
Veryconcerned……………...57%..... 45%.... 70%.. 58%
Somewhatconcerned…….27%...... 32%.... 23%.. 25%
Notveryconcerned………….7%.......10%...... 2%..... 9%
Not concerned at all……….8%........12%.......4%.....7%

When you add up the total for very concerned and somewhat concerned you come up with 84% vs 15% not concerned or not very concerned. Good enough reason for the White House to finally brief Congress I suppose.

Tons of more information available if one wants to read into the whole thing.

Yeah well this one is different Jet......the Intel Man for the Taliban is one who taught Bin Laden and the Z Man. This guy will just go underground and get on a Phone. One we can't tap. He isn't headed for the Afghani Battlefield only. Again.....BO doesn't have these guys mitigated nor compromised.

Moreover.....we already learned from BUSH about not just letting people out of Gitmo. As we are now dealing with AQIL......and he use to be just a regular guy. A regular schmoe. Now he is the Leader of that Branch.

We also know that two others released.....became Leaders of a couple Ansar al Sharia groups.

As well as your frothing at the mouth opposition.

Granted I'm predisposed to opposing Obama, beyond that he's a flat out repeat offender when it comes to lying. He makes Clinton look like a straight shooter. His ability to say he's going to do something, then do 180 degree opposite is at once astounding, and not at all surprising anymore. He's more arrogant then FDR, more ambitious then A. Jackson and makes Carter seem not so bad after all.

So yeah, I'm generally against such.

Not the same thing MMC, 84% think the release of the 5 hard core Talaban will come back to haunt us. As for those who think the sway was a good or bad idea, the polls shows 45-47.

I think this shows the majority of Americans wanted our POW back, but the majority of Americans didn't want to release the 5 hard Core Talaban to do it.

To the point of being against the return of an American soldier over 5 goat herders we can simply wipe out with a few drone attacks in a few years. We now see who the true enemy within is.

To Republicans & Conservatives: Good luck convincing the American public that bringing an American home was a bad decision.

To Dem's and Libs: Good luck convincing everyone breaking the law, endangering our troops and letting free 5 bad dudes is worth the life of a deserter, a traitor.

"Vote Dem! We free terror to bring home traitors!"

To Republicans & Conservatives: Good luck convincing the American public that bringing an American home was a bad decision.

To Liberals and Progs.....Live with Increasing the Risk of ALL American lives overseas and ALL Military forces. Including those that BO put a target on their back in Afghanistan.

Then the Next one that gets snatched.....How about just walking to the Gallows, Insert neck.....and pull that lever.

Is that today's MM talking points or did Chris Mathews put out a special email on how to react?

Because this isn't "One American for a handful of goat herders" it's one TRAITOR that got good men dead all for what?

How very brave of him to appear before the Democratic controlled Senate and leave out the House.
This time, however, there is a record established that both Democrats and Republicans saw an imminent threat in using GITMO detainees as negotiating pawns to free Bergdahl. They are well aware that this administration did not follow the law in informing them 30 days prior to a detainee's release was because they knew it would be met with resistance. Period. Now will Democrats roll over and now decide since the administration apologized for their actions want it to all go away? Maybe some....but I doubt all.

They don't have to, we already are. And lovely reduction btw, only cheapens your argument.

So he was convicted of treason? Well alright. Show us the trial documents :)

Lol, FOX News polls? You may as well be citing NewRepublic.

Take it for what it is worth. Fox pays the firm of Anderson Robbins Research (D) / Shaw & Company Research (R) to conduct their polls. It is actually two different companies that combine their results, Anderson Robbins Research being a Democratic polling firm and Shaw and Company being a Republican one.

It's even worse. If any of these five are linked in any way after they were released, to the deaths of Americans it's clearly on Obama's head. Even if one of these five trains ten others on how to kill people, it's still on Obama's head. In any realm of the imagination I cannot see how or why they would let THESE five go. And did the administration not know that there were concerns about Bergdahl and the investigation that took place? I mean a CO losing someone off their base in Afghanistan ... there's going to be a report, and investigation, testimony.... there's a paper trail here and we just don't know the whole story of what happened yet - but eventually it will come out.
