Exclusive: Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi chapter

The day they drum that dickwad out of Congress can't come soon enough.

When Real Time with Bill Maher first started on HBO, Issa was on it a lot and actually struck me as a reasonable fellow. I never thought he, of all people, would become the GOP's resident bloodhound. But I guess he knows from whence his checks are coming.

More likely reasonable men need a bit of time to see how tragic the left is. We are going to find out the truth, I guarantee you that.

And your white russian will be smacked out of your hand.

Hmm...is it worse to politicize the failures and lies of the regime or is it worse to fail and lie about 4 dead Americans?

No matter what the GOP does or doesn't do the person who moves into the White House when Obama move out will be a Democrat.

Don't take my word for this, wait and see.

Yes, please, get to the bottom of the left's insidious plans. I can't wait.

I don't find it funny that you would talk about Pete behind his back without directly quoting him.

Good morning NIMBY.

That's funny since the OP is Pete's and as such he is likely and in a way obligated to read all the posts in the thread he creates, so not behind his back at all. Also funny, because Pete actually quoted back on the comment you took offense to and he didn't find it offensive at all.

DP and some of its members, in many ways, remind me of the American liberal movement in general in that it spends its entire time trying to discover/develop offense and outrage where none actually exists.

I still don't know what the controversy is over Benghazi. Obama changed some talking points or something? Maybe?

That's actually refreshingly honest. That you require principles of our elected officials but not of yourselves is not surprising, but that you're so proud of this fact and so willing to acknowledge it kind of is. The people screaming about Benghazi are certainly a swell bunch.

Seriously, no wonder you're all so ready to lie and make a mockery of the deaths of the victims of Benghazi. You don't even believe principles are required of you.

On the other hand, you require principle from an anonymous forum poster and not your elected officials...

Has Maher included Issa in any of his "Flip A District" games yet?
If he hasn't, it's because the two enjoy a disturbing bromance that far surpasses his "trysts" with Ann Coulter.
I still enjoy Maher but I don't take the man seriously.

I'm sure that will come as a comfort to the 270 Lockerbie families that the Lybian dictator murdered, the one you're praising.
Why do you suppose Reagan bombed Khaddaffi?

Imagine the GOP outrage if the Beirut barracks bombings 31 years ago had happened on Obama's watch, versus Reagan's, killing 299 soldiers.
Or God forbid, if Gore had been President when 9/11 happened, if it would have happened.
Pretty sick when one party politicizes death don't you think ?

Good morning, NIMBY. :2wave:

I was stating facts, my friend, not praising him! Can we not give credit for the good things he did for the people of his country, as well as damning him for the evil he did? He is dead, so he can't change anything now. Our leaders from both parties over the years have managed to accumulate a $17 trillion debt which has the potential to change our way of life forever, and it won't be a welcome change when it comes time to pay the piper - his country was debt free. I don't know how he did it, but it would be nice if we could say we did the same, but we can't. How many of us would say no to an interest free loan when we bought a house or car, or started a business? You and I both know the answer to that. Just facts, NIMBY, not praise.

Libya was "debt free" because it had the most valuable natural resource on the planet and companies not from Libya perfectly willing to come dig it up and pay the Libyan government for the privilege.

Colombia would be "debt free" too, if cocaine was legal.

:agree: But doesn't it seem strange to anyone but me that the Fates, or whatever term you use, would have arranged things the way they did - give them the oil under their land that the entire world needs? There's probably a lesson there somewhere, but I don't know what it is.

Good morning, Kobie. :2wave:

Considering that the GOP keeps making bad choices on who they select (the people don't, the 'primary' thing is a joke) to run, considering that there is far more voter fraud and voting buying than anyone realizes, and considering that it seems that most Americans are insanely ignorant and uninformed on/about government and the issues: I'd say you will probably be right.

My compliments to you for exposing these people for dancing on Benghazi graves,
while they now dance on VA graves, along with the current Afghan-POW caused graves.

Yet they're the first to accuse me and others of dancing on mass murder graves .

That's because their own dishonesty and hypocrisy are so great they have to shift the focus as quickly as they can. We've already had one poster in this thread (Calgun) who argued that in the case of mass shootings the 2nd amendment was more important, and has argued repeatedly that their deaths are statistically irrelevant. And we have another (Jmotivator) that has accepted that neither he nor anybody else in this forum are required to be honest, moral or hold to any principles. To accuse them of dishonesty and immorality is one thing, to see them so happily stand by their deplorable behavior is just depressing. Jmotivator thinks our elected representatives should hold to higher standard of ethics, but what he doesn't understand is that a nation's politicians are only as good as its voting public.

Hope the DNC pays you well for you ads stated as facts?

the cloud that will always hang over her head is being part of the lie the administration pushed day after day about the attack, it was about the video and her comment "what difference does it make".

.... and, what difference does it make??? Probably the most pertinent question raised in the hearings, yet it was never answered....

BTW, it might help if you actually watched the dialogue....

Fundamentally, the whole set of hearings was silliness. The State Department certainly has an obligation to study the issue, determine what went wrong and to fix any holes it has in its processes, but beyond that, this is just political theatre.

How is that "not-so-select" committee of I$$A doing these days?
And now we have McKeon's committee opening a new chapter with the prisoner exchange.
There is no end to the GOP politicizing death and foreign policy when they are not in power .

More likely there is no end to the abuses of the Obama administration and his lib puppets. You suckers have sat by for too long. Things are about to change. You can mock those that seek an open and honest relationship with their govt, but civilization is not on your side.

I enjoyed the open and honest relationship that Cheney had with us last decade .
