Personally, I'm surprised that Holder and the DOJ are investigating this... I thought they would dismiss it based on partisan politics like they do with most issues.

The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into a group that created a list of “Pitfalls of Working With White People” and has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants, The Daily Caller has learned.

Earlier this week, TheDC reported that the DOJ gave the grants to Beyond Diversity Resource Center, a diversity training group based in New Jersey.

The organization was a sponsor of the White Privilege Conference. which was held in Madison, Wisc. earlier this year.

There, the website Progressive Today reported that a flier with the group’s letterhead was circulated. It included a list of 29 “pitfalls” that minorities face when working with white people.

Probably not.... But you need to see this. It is quite frankly, one of the most disturbing things I've seen in a while, especially since the entire conference is for teachers, educators and school administrators.

I E-mailed our School board and asked if they spent any Tax payer funds to send teachers to this ridiculous conference ( Some school districts did )

Number 18 strikes me as particularly telling. It seems to me that they are saying when a person completely disregards race and treats everyone the same that it is somehow unequal? Are they trying to imply that "their" race should receive special consideration? Or am I reading into this all wrong?
 
Most of the things on that list sound like they're directed at liberals.

Of course we all know that most black "outrage"is expressed by white liberals. Could it be that blacks don't like this? Damn. There is so little one can count on anymore.

The conservative Rage Machine is going on steroids. What a silly thing. The list, however childish or sincere it is (depending on ones perspective) contains nothing illegal. I did a little checking on this.

3 -Despite what the daily caller says, I have found no evidence of any DOJ, or other law enforcement agency investigation.

It is the idea of colorblindness is actually the erasing the importance of how culture and race is to people. The "I don't see color" crowd actually seem to want someone's experiences and culture not to play a role in their lives. It is offensive in fact.

Those fliers are not fake, they are very real.

I learned about them days before this current story about the DOJ came out.
