Your tax dollars at work...for you!

Last week, whistleblowers in Missouri alerted local media that an ObamaCare facilitator with a $1.2 billion contract paid its employees to do almost nothingliterally. Serco’s paper-application facility in Missouri had so little business that employees had to sit at their desks and entertain themselves most of the day, and the goal set by Serco management had employees aiming at processing just one or two applications a month. Because employees are forbidden from bringing in their own computers or smart phones, they ended up playing Pictionary and socializing most of their day.

A second local TV station in Arkansas wondered if the local Serco office had the same problem. Not only did employees make the same allegations, the office is still hiring even more employees to do nothing:

More government, more waste. And progressives want more! :eek:uch:

How long before Mr Obama hears about this on the news?

This was posted a while ago, the only source the local news station had was an anonymous interview with a man who would not give his name and spoke through a voice modulator.

In other words its total bull****.

That hyperlink in the beginning of that sentence doesn't go to any story or information that supports what Hot Air is saying.

At least one other source came out, she had a name, picture, video interview and similar allegations. From my prior post on the subject:

Workers at Wentzille Obamacare center played board games, ex-employee says : News

A former employee at an Affordable Care Act processing center in Wentzville recalls having so little work to do that she played board games while some co-workers slept.
Lavonne Takatz, 42, worked at the center in Wentzville from October to April.
“We played Pictionary. We played 20 Questions. We played Trivial Pursuit,” she told the Post-Dispatch Wednesday.

Takatz said that when she and other employees looked for applications to process, they called it fishing because they were trying to catch an application before someone at another processing center could.

Employees refreshed their pages so frequently that Serco limited them to one refresh per 10 minutes. If workers refreshed more than that, they were called into a supervisor’s office and told to stop.

Workers became so bored and hostile, Takatz claims, that Serco began providing books to read. Employees were told they could not speak to the media, even if they left the company.

Of it's something bad against liberal progressive statist policy, wiseone is sure to come tell you it's a lie, wrong, not true, bs. He's an independant see, so he has NO bias at all.

/rolleyes

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil of all his holiness King B. Obama. That is the wiseone way.

This can't be true, it just can't... the ACA is perfect, and wonderful!

Its not because its against a liberal policy, its because its not sourced at all.

Do A SEARCH..

Here's an ABC link to the story with more information:

Some of them work at an office called Serco in London, KY, just a few hours from Nashville.

“You arrive at 6:30 in the morning. You badge in. You go straight to your cubicle. You wait, and wait and you wait. Nothing comes through,” said former Serco employee LaVonne Takatz.

Former employees of another Serco facility in Missouri told our sister station KMOV-TV they collected up to $17 an hour to do nothing. They said sometimes they’d play games or sleep to pass the time.

“Our supervisor, I can’t speak for the others, but ours said if we process one or two of these applications a month, then we’ve done our job. So, that’s a lot of money to be spent on that little bit of nothing,” said former Serco employee Paula Bujewski, who worked at the Missouri facility.

Thank you. So, at least two facilities.. and at least 3 whistleblowers... Still won't be enough for some.

You're welcome, but I know what you mean 'won't be enough' or from the proper sites, lol

I did a google search on the name I came up with mostly blogs, but you should back up your own claims rather than expect others to do so for you.

Lends it more credibility to have an actual person quoted, but an anonymous phone interview and a single person aren't proof. I don't find the notion of a government contractor being paid to do nothing unbelievable, its all too real, but for me to say its going on for certain I'm gonna need more.

The lawmakers are looking into the claims. You & I don't have to do anything.

I'd prefer someone with less bias and less desire to find some chicken to **** all the way to re-election.

So if the claims are proven to be true, you'll do what exactly?

And actually, I see more than 1 name when I look at Buck's links too.

He also claims to be a military officer and last week advocated for the killing of Americans he disagrees with politically. That was of course worse-but Im not surprised about his response here either.

I don't see why I would... You started with a (kind of) acceptable argument "it's just one unanmed witness". Then when shown that there are more witnesses and they are named, you change your attack to "the source isn't good enough". If mainstream sources were provided, you'll just come up with something else to complain about to allow you to continue to disbelieve.
