I think Condi is classy and I heard she played great piano.

But she has a legacy/brand she will have to endure the rest of her life.

I admire both the students and Condi.

I admire the students for making their positions known in regards to the ideology Condi is branded with. It is good that they have rejected such thought as those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

I admire Condi for handling this gracefully and acknowleging that commencement is a place for celebration and not a stump for controversy. Perhaps another place or time, but not commencement.

Imagine if they had Fidel Castro speaking at Harding University. I imagine the blowback would be the same from a rightwing leaning university. That's why I don't buy the "Libbos against free speech," argument.
