[Update] Turtle Rock Community Manager Fired Over Donald Sterling Remarks - News - www.GameInformer.com

See what scared people we are now? Finger pointing sissy cowards sums up this crapfest we call politically correctness. Livelihoods being destroyed for NOTHING. Sharing your ideas can now get you fired folks. Have fun in the new USA, where the first Amendment is dead. Who knows whats right and wrong anymore? I know one thing. The US is a ticking time bomb.

These are the sissies! Great diversity in employees Turtle Rock! Bunch of cowards.

I feel our public education system is failing us. long ago I learned the 1st Amendment was to limit government, not citizens. That is to say your BOSS can object to your tone, language, or words and fire your 'patriotic' ass, but the Gubmint can't throw you in jail for condemning the War in Iraq on Twitter.

If you think a man 'sharing' his ideas at work didn't get him canned in the 50's you are wrong. Sharing ideas on race probably flew if you worked in a predominantly same ethnic workplace- black folks still weren't all 'uppitty' like they are now...

But try 'defending' communism and see what happens... try being a 'socialist' in the Army, government or hell Hollywood for that matter....

The manager works in a certain environment, if he isn't sensitive to that he needs to work someplace else. The manager doesn't seem over-brite to think a man who employs so many blacks can also think some form of segregation is still good. Times do change, this isn't Sammy Davis and Vegas.

Simply put, freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences from said speech. The government can't punish you for speaking your mind (as long as it is protected speech), but the country at large can.

As a side question, why do conservatives extol the values of the free market, except when the free market demands the ouster of people like Sterling and the Mozilla CEO because of their positions on certain issues?
