Med school student auctioning off virginity

Uncalled for? The joke begged. Lighten up, Francis.

It was funny for at least two reasons: that's not what you meant and it's calling you a virgin.

Oh. Ok. Good joke...

I heard a joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor... I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

You were home schooled, weren't you. Mormon?

You sir are a laugh riot.

Did you catch the reference? The meaning? There was an extremely good movie attached to that quote. If you just read it at face value you wont understand ;)

Either way. I'm out of here for the night. Left my opinion. Gained a stalker. I think it's been a productive night.

I'm sure some rich millionaire would get a thrill out of her virginity.

With her picture though, and with being in college for that many years (2 bachelors and now med school) and the fact that she is selling her virginity I do have my doubts as to if she is likely really a virgin or not... But hey, student loans are rough, can't blame her for it.

She might, many are graduating with $300,000+ in student loans. The average I think is around the $200,000 mark and increasing. Not only that, but depending on her future specialty she may spend 3-7+ years working for around 50k unable to make substantial (or any) payments on loans while the loans accrue and build compounding interest. The loan burden upon physicians and others can be astronomical.

Still she will be making money a lot of money. It's not like pharmacy where you would have loans plus no job,

I've done better for free... :)

Tim-

Interesting conundrum - I couldn't imagine simply ****ing a stranger for money but hey - it would make for a great short story.
`
Men do it all the time, it's called prostitution.

So she wants to prostitute herself to pay debts. No big deal. The only difference between a prostitute and most women today, is that a prostitute is smart enough to get paid for it, and she is more honest about it. Any man who pays a tip truck load of money for a screw is a fool, especially when there is so much given away for free.

Who says theres a wage gap between men and women. From what I can tell women get paid 500,000x more than men for some jobs.

No - a prostitute can say 'no' and she has the final say.

The OP chick doesn't care, she's turning it into a business contract. I hope she gives herself a 'ew - you're disgusting' escape clause.

The salary can be nice, but it's not as glamorous as it looks. Primary care guys can vary anywhere between 140-200k per year, but depending on the state they may have malpractice insurance around the 20k+ per year mark and will still pay higher taxes and loans. If a physician specializes in an area and pulls out over 300k+ per year that is still nice, but the average primary care guy (of which there is a shortage) isn't making big bucks. Many of the other high paying specialties have much higher insurance costs as well.

Thanks for your concerns about pharmacy, but I think I'll be fine. Many of my friends in this graduating class have already secured jobs making 110k+ per year. Certain areas of the country are saturated (primarily cities like Chicago and New York) but there are jobs out there and many states are considering expanding scopes (my state already has) to provide for more opportunities.

I wasn't going after you, but just making a general statement. Sorry if it came out that way. The avg starting salary for a pharmacist is 80k in chicago.

If she lives in the US, she still can be guilty of a crime, even if the "ACT" takes place down under.

wasn't a few years ago another girl did this only she ended up canceling it at the last minute.

No worries, I apologize for being overly defensive.

The market was hit hard with the economic collapse and with schools opening up in clusters around areas where there aren't ones needed. Chicago has like 5 schools (if I remember right) and many of their graduating classes plan on staying and working in Chicago. The salary date I'm looking at here:Salary.com Salary Wizard- Do you know what you're worth? says that the average salary in Chicago is 127k per year, although what they may be doing is offering new grads only 32 hours per week resulting in lower pay (which isn't too uncommon for saturated areas).

Lot of pharmacists would be lucky to even get that here. Many of them are floaters that have to drive 50+ miles one way.

Wonder what a steak and lobster dinner will get? Don't have the half mil to spend but, would settle for a few minutes.

I read the article and you're only guessing. I stick with the facts given. Besides, what judge is going to enforce an illegal contract? Last time I heard, prostitution (with or without a contract) is illegal.

Hell, I'm still a virgin in certain senses of the word.

If I could get a disease free, protection-wearing man to hand me $550K I'd be willing to give it up.

Can't be any worse than a visit to the proctologist.

LOL - true.

I'm still betting the entire thing is a hoax.
