Report shows violence against rangers rising, sequestration likely to worsen

Whats this got to do with my point? You tried to connect an increase of violence against park rangers to militia's with out any proof of a connection and one of your sources directly stating that it is the sequestrian's fault that more violence has occured due to the sequestrians effect of cut backs and layoffs. Your first link doesn't even describe what kind of violence was happening. For all we know that "violence" was just someone bashing in a park rangers vehicle or punching some park rangers nose for making an offensive comment. Yet you are trying to link all the violence in 2013 to militias.
Here's the link from the OP.

Like I stated previously, militia groups and terrorist groups don't die off or fade away into obscurity, they lay low, and come back to make trouble in years following initial attacks.

In this link, the story outlines violence and threats against forest service workers and BLM employees.

Here is a link to PEER research findings.

So you are comparing the KGB to our government workers in the field now?

I expanded on that in a later post, and in brief, the answer is "No, not in a general sense." I explained the point I was making.

More so in this day and age, as there is an upward spike in violence against park service, forest workers, and blm workers on the job, according to the PEER research group, which stopped reporting of such incidents about two years ago.

It is truely shocking that anti-gov't violence is most often directed at gov't buildings/workers. Naturally when you diiscount all other crime/violence it seems that public employes are being picked on more on the job. I can assure you that retail clerks suffer as crime victims at a far higher rate than gov't workers, even the PEER folks are forced to admit that.

Statistcs, carefully manipulated, can be shown to "prove" anything. From ZERO (two years ago) to more than zero (recently) is indeed a "huge spike" just as an increase from 1 to 3 is a 300% increase. Did it make the papers two years ago that there was a huge decrease in such violence? Did we celebrate a year after the OKC bombing that such violence has dramitcally decreased?

It seems that the freak out factor is extremely high when a "new threat" can be attributed to those linked (however loosely) with the politcial opposition.

And so, now it's come to being violent towards people working in the field who are employed by the US Government as Forest Service and BLM people.

This won't come to an end until more government employees are injured or killed by just performing their jobs. Then the government might do something about finding these nut jobs, arresting them and getting them into courts.

It must be pretty bad for people just doing their jobs having to look over their shoulders all the time, wondering if someone is going to attack them.
If your job puts you at odds with people. Well, it seems natural that those people are going to push back. Seems the BLM is taking some advantages of people they shouldn't.

That was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but the point is that someone can be "just doing their job" and still be oppressing people.

Do I think that, by and large, the average Ranger or BLM employee is equivalent to the KGB or engaged in oppression? No. Do I support indiscriminate violence against same? No.

But as I keep saying (and you keep ignoring) there are REASONS why there is a push-back going on, and it involved Federal land grabs and numerous offenses against property owners in certain states, and heavy-handed Fed actions.

The thing that ought to concern everyone is that we've reached a point where grievances against the People have caused some to start viewing any Fedgov agent as an enemy... and to recognize that the reasons why are NOT simply "militia are violent for no reason".

If the far left had their way the fed government would own all the land and we the people would be in a drawing for the privilege to put a small hovel of a hut on a tiny plot of land.

Already read it. I found this part of particular interest...

Baca said there was no proof of a link between militia groups, the wise-use movement and anti-government violence, "other than that there's an atmosphere of militancy and a lot of common threads in their beliefs."

Everything you need to know about the long fight between Cliven Bundy and the federal government

Other than some militia folks standing up to federal officials on the Clive Bundy situation no where in that does it link militias to any of the other violent happenings.

And in this link it specifically states...

Drugs and alcohol appeared to play a role in a large number of incidents, PEER says, which included a Bureau of Land Management worker being shot while driving a BLM vehicle in September 2012 and a fleeing subject attempting to run over a Park Police officer with his car.

Not to mention it doesn't once make mention of militias anywhere in it.

Your attempt to blame militias for the rise of violence against park rangers is failing miserably. Do you even read your own sources?

Occasionally I do.
But I love how you cherry picked the articles, I wouldn't have expected anything less.

Really? If anyone objects to the actions of gov't agents then they should simply pack up and leave the nation? I am sure that you have seen no examples of gov't agents ever doing something wrong, and if they ever should do so then you would expect to see a mass exodus from that surrounding area rather than a "fuss" over the breach of public trust.

actually if your vision of government agents doing their job is like the KGB then yes your hate for our country is gone too far.

This looks more like the work of PETA. Possibly in conjunction with Greenpeace.

To believe that pipe bombs that have been found in national forests were left by someone just tinkering around is really naive. And to think that somehow, some way that a militia isn't involved in the planting of pipe bombs in BLM and Forest Services offices and on a forest service worker's vehicle is extremely naive. I think I know that line of thinking, it was just some disgruntled camper who didn't like paying camping fees.

If the far right had their way, there wouldn't be any public lands, they'd be sold, right down to Yellowstone National Park.

Can't help if your own articles do not support your arguement.

Btw, cherry picking entails that there were other parts of the articles that actually support your arguement that I intententionally left out. Mind showing those parts? Can you? Beware: It might entail actually reading your own sources. ;)

About a month or so ago a pipe bomb was left on somebodies front porch in my area. Do you think the militia was involved in that?

Likewise with your remark about federal employees = KGB. Yours was a deliberate attempt to do something other than to discuss or debate the topic subject in a more logical fashion. There's a word for that, which I will stop short of name calling here.

It's a little naive to think you will not be held accountable for your actions isn't it?

No one is fooled by the braying, self-righteousness and superior Liberal elitism in your posts.

Close. The states would control the land, not the fed.

Are you sure it wasn't...?

Interesting. That never happened did it?

Yet when it comes to the Federal Government:

Oh well, what can you add to the topic? Other than bantering and bullying your con position?

I have experience with states owning a majority of American land. Most of it is not free of charge either, at least not in the way Forests and BLM land is.

Come now, I asked you a yes or no question. Surely you can give a straight "yes" or "no" answer?

Not, unless your neighbor is involved with some sort of militia group.

Nonsense. How could anyone bully your federal government?

Couldn't have been a militia. According to the anti 2A folks here a militia doesn't exist in America.
