Nope. I flat do not watch teevee news, period. I don't listen to talk or news radio other than the BBC and the CBC. I have seen an occasional video clip posted on the internet, but it's been quite a while, maybe two years.

Almost from day one, the fact of Sarah Palin's traditional views on home, marriage and family have driven Liberal men crazy with rage. It just seems "Unmanly" for men to attack attractive women. One would think they would be embarrassed.

Ray, think what you will of Palin, but what you have misassessed the negative reaction to Palin. Palin was a useful idiot. That became clear fairly early in the game. A sizable portion of the nation was stunned that any number of people would be so daft as to not see what McCain was doing with Palin.

McCain's charade didn't work, as we all know. It didn't work for several reasons and Palin was one of them. She hurt his candidacy as America discovered that there was no there there with Palin. Today Palin is a one trick pony who has discovered there's money in it. Most Americans from all parties and independents are simply tired of hearing Palin's pithy platitudes. While the nation faces serious, serious issues many people find it amazing that America's intellectually limited have been galvanized by what amounts to a carnival sideshow.

Make no mistake, I don't have many kind things to say about the woman's policies and performance in office, but I try to avoid the gratuitous appearance slags.

Blocking a full out slapshot hurts like a bastard, and I don't particularly like doing it, it can hurt like hell... and isn't for wimps... but it's not torture.

I'd love to see you take one of my slapshots in the ankle :) Painful as hell, might not be able to walk for a couple weeks, but it is not torture.

Meh...I used to like Canada and its citizens, then I moved near the border. Talk about annoying. Watching Canadians invade Costco is quite the sight. It's especially frightening watching the morons fill lots of portable gas tanks and stuffing them full into the back of a minivan full of kids. And then there are the crazy drivers who race like a bat out of hell on the freeways. Fortunately the WA State Patrol feasts off of them.

The negative comments regarding Sarah Palin are an indicia of how terrified the Liberals are of her.

Certainly they will all say "It's her terrible policies we hate" as if they were all some sort of altruists interested in America's welfare, but if Sarah Palin really was a non-starter for Republican elective purposes, Liberals would all love her.

The Liberals have no interest in seeing the Right run decent candidates, they love losers like McCain and Bob Dole.

The fact is Palin gave an incredible boost to McCain's disgustingly lackluster, Left leaning campaign of planned failure. From the moment of Palin's enormously popular acceptance speech in which McCain's campaign got an incredible boost, the Left has hated Palin and insulted her at every opportunity. We all know why, why pretend otherwise?

Worst of all, she's a babe! The Liberals have Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton.

I had a rebuttal, but it was apparently too subtle for you. I'll clarify:

Your logic is this:
Torture is illegal
Government is waterboarding
Therefore waterboarding isn't torture and is legal.

But this idea rests on another notion you didn't say explicitly: the notion that the government doesn't ever do anything illegal.

This logic is fundamentally flawed. That was my rebuttal, I hope this clears things up for you.
