Sarah Palin: 'Waterboarding Is How We'd Baptize Terrorists' If I Were In Charge

Perhaps you should give some thoughts to your posts before you respond. You can start by first understanding the post you're responding to.

I didn't think so.

You claim the people in that video are "very representative." OK. Prove it.

I had a rebuttal, but it was apparently too subtle for you. I'll clarify:

Your logic is this:
Torture is illegal
Government is waterboarding
Therefore waterboarding isn't torture and is legal.

But this idea rests on another notion you didn't say explicitly: the notion that the government doesn't ever do anything illegal.

This logic is fundamentally flawed. That was my rebuttal, I hope this clears things up for you.
ROTFLOL... you do realize talk about waterboarding has been going on for some time and Congress knows our troops are being waterboarded.

You also know torture is illegal... this is all in the open, so why doesn't Congress act to stop torturing our troops.

It's not clandestine... hidden... it is a known known and has been for what? At least 10-years.

"subtle"... LOL ... facepalm...

Try, try again.

Not just any people, only the morons that don't think it's torture.

Yes, but only to a select few.

Thanks for playing really bad analogy.

Actually watching you play hockey would be torture.

Again genius, torture being illegal would prevent our troops from getting it.

It is a very simple argument even Libs can understand, but they choose not to.

And... you don't know me, but it's nice to see I get under your skin so that you make inane personal comments.

So in your little world, one of our soldiers gets tortured and that makes it legal? Is that angel dust on your cereal?

It is a very simple argument even Libs can understand, but they choose not to.

Those damned liberals. They rely on simple logic and facts. What could they be thinking?

And... you don't know me,

Yes, I am fortunate thanks.

but it's nice to see I get under your skin

So you are comparing yourself to a parasite?

so that you make inane personal comments.

Who brought up your hockey game? Inane indeed.

NO, what I have said is waterboarding is a known known... we do it and have known we have done it for quote some time to our own troops.

If it is torture, and torture is illegal, then waterboarding our troops is both illegal and prohibited.

Those damned liberals. They rely on simple logic and facts. What could they be thinking?
You simply have difficulty with logic, ans my simple example above has illustrated... and facts????????? ROTFLOL... if facts mattered Liberalism would be dead and never rise again.
It's the ignorant or intellectually bankrupt who ascribe to Liberalism.

Please....oh please......if there is a GOD, please let Sarah Palin run for the GOP nomination in 2016....please oh please oh please.......

That a priceless pretzel right there. Actions of the military determine laws...what a wonderful world.

I would love for anyone silly enough to suggest that waterboarding isn't torture to volunteer to be waterboarded and then see how they feel thereafter. I am sure you would run to the front of the line with your hockey stick.

Logic was never a strong point of yours I see. Bad place to show it, but hey... that's your problem.

There are laws against torture. If waterboarding is torture it is illegal to use on our troops... no ifs ands or butts.

Meh, she's not interesting. And the people who go to the NRA conventions aren't going there for religious instruction, so they wouldn't care.

I went to look at new products, talk to the head of the CZ custom shop about the availability of the CZ "Parrot" race gun and the availability of the new S&W 9mm Revolver designed for steel events

Im not really fired up. Just find her as a idiot and i find all her "fans" idiots.

idiocy is making such a widespread condemnation on anyone who was at that rally

Oh, there's been some boisterous true believers that thought they were tough enough to hang, buuuutttt....

"It is way worse than I thought it would be, and that's no joke,"Mancow said (WLS conservative radio host Erich "Mancow" Muller)
......It was instantaneous...and I don't want to say this: absolutely torture."

<snip>

Last year, Vanity Fair writer Christopher Hitchens endured the same experiment -- and came to a similar conclusion.
...

"Well, then, if waterboarding does not constitute torture, then there is no such thing as torture,"

Gore graduated from Harvard with a degree in "government" and while he did not graduate, attended Vanderbilt Law School. He dropped out to run for office.

Palin went to 6 colleges to get her degree. ( U of Idaho twice)

Gore also failed to complete a divinity degree at Vandy. So he failed to complete 2/3rd of the academic programs he started.

Yes, but he did invent the internet.

He also was Eric Segal's inspiration for "Love Story" too according to him

I confuse Al gore for Ryan O'Neal all the time and tipper looks a lot like Ali McGraw!

one of my brothers in law was also on that floor with Al and TLJ freshman year. He said TLJ/AGs suite room looked like a Bob Marley concert and smelled like it too

Like I said, I'm sure you would volunteer to "not be tortured"

LOL... I see you've exhausted your attempt at logic. Nap time... and...

... you wouldn't volunteer to block a slap shot of mine even if it meant winning the Stanley Cup.

My former sister in law was in the same graduating class (Ratcliff) In her sorority was a young artist by the name of Bonnie Raitt. I remember when she went back for her 25th reunion, they gave her a hardbound "yearbook" with bios on all the graduates. It was pretty cool seeing presidents of major corporations, famous actors like Jones, the VPOTUS, and an occasional housewife. he he

I'll sleep well having owned your ass.

Meh, I played was too much ball to be intimidated by your limp wristed shot. And it's funny how you keep avoiding the idea of being waterboarded yourself. Well perhaps predictable is a better word.
