Sarah Palin: 'Waterboarding Is How We'd Baptize Terrorists' If I Were In Charge

I'll sleep well having owned your ass.
You failed.

As noted... if torture is illegal, our troops couldn't be exposed to waterboarding by our own military, because we don't torture our enemies and surely not our own.

Meh, I played was too much ball to be intimidated by your limp wristed shot. And it's funny how you keep avoiding the idea of being waterboarded yourself. Well perhaps predictable is a better word.
This has nothing to do with me being waterboarded, but being a man, I could take it. Wouldn't enjoy it, but if Christopher HItchens could manage it... LOL...

The religious connotations of Palin's comment are the most troubling. She is calling for, essentially, forcing a ritual from her religion onto people of another. The parallels between this comment and others over the war on terror being a religious conflict between Christians and Muslims constitute a very dangerous undercurrent for the US' actions in the last decade. It is not only Jihaddists who are looking for a religious war, there appear to be plenty here in the US hoping for the same. No one should be seeking such an awful reality.

My former sister in law was in the same graduating class (Ratcliff) In her sorority was a young artist by the name of Bonnie Raitt. I remember when she went back for her 25th reunion, they gave her a hardbound "yearbook" with bios on all the graduates. It was pretty cool seeing presidents of major corporations, famous actors like Jones, the VPOTUS, and an occasional housewife. he he

You keep repeating the same thing over and over as if it meant something. Assuming our military would never do anything illegal. Hilarious. You sound like an uninformed one line parrot.

This has nothing to do with me being waterboarded,

Sure it doesn't. You maintain it's not torture. I'd give you ten seconds under the water and you'd be singing torture like a bird.

.

Dead men don't tell lies.

but being a man, I could take it.

I doubt both.

You are obviously having difficulty understanding the premise. The military could very well do things illegal, but the simple point that seems to fly over your head like a propeller on a dunce cap is...

1. This is a known known. Our troops are not clandestinely being waterboarded. It is part of their training.

2. Torture is illegal under the law.

3. Congress, those who write laws (and King Obama about 35 times) know about this practice and have done nothing.

Put another way so you might comprehend: You cannot torture troops under our laws.

I am not sure I can make it any simpler for you, though I have a funny feeling the next post of yours will reveal that will be needed.

3. Congress, those who write laws (and King Obama about 35 times) know about this practice and have done nothing..

Actually Congress voted to outlaw waterboarding but your hero Dubya vetoed it. Rewrite history much?

You done your best, but I think we both know you'll never get through. There are some that will think and get it, but many, many others that will never even accept to information and process it.

Last I knew there was a dope in the White House called Obama, and during the 1st two years of his administration his party controlled Congress.

Selective memory much?

No. You said Congress did nothing. And you were wrong.

Oh you mean like facts? Gotcha.

How many of those 24 months was the Senate filibuster-free?
How many more times will you trot out this LIE ?

No. You said Congress did nothing. And you were wrong.

Obviously their law wasn't acceptable to the president. I wonder how it was written and what else came with it.

Ah... here...
Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the leading Republican presidential candidate and an author of previous anti-torture legislation, voted against the overall intelligence bill. The interrogation provision says the Central Intelligence Agency must adhere to limitations in the U.S. Army Field Manual.
Though he is opposed to waterboarding, he couldn't live with that limitation on the CIA.

The Socialist of Amerika Partei (SAPs) had 2-years to correct this, and what did they do?

Nothing.

That was because it is not considered torture. At least in the opinion that Bush got from the DOJ. And I'm sure that since it was working and these guys were giving up valuable information, he continued it. So did Obama. I'm good with that.

That was because it is not considered torture. .

LOLOLOL Are you ****ing kidding me? Bush vetoed the bill. The bill specifically listed waterboarding as torture. Bush didn't agree. But let's not make **** up shall we?

Oh, let me reply in kind... LOLOLOL Are you kidding me??? Let's not make stuff up!!! Oh, the bill said it was torture??? Those brainiacs in the Congresss??? LOLOLOL!!! Are you kidding me???

Boy, that felt like a childish response. Just wanted to see how it felt. Not good. Helps me know what I am dealing with.

Do we have to go through this again.
Waterboarding isn't torture... we use it on our troops.

If it is torture... we couldn't use it on our troops.

And the bill didn't pass because it was designed not to, as McCain himself pointed out.

The us military and various government agencies has a very long sordid history of illegal activities regarding troops. They are pretty damned good at it. But you go ahead and live your little delusion.

With your pretzel logic, all of this was legal.

This is 2014... Hello! Hello? Hell...o? Anybody there? Hello?

The Socialists of Amerika Partei (SAPs) could have gone after this in their 1st two years if they wanted... hell they shoved ObamaAbortion down our throats... you'd think passing a law about not waterboarding our troops would have been a cinch.

We don't torture our troops, as torture is illegal.

Difficult premise to understand for you is see.
