N.C. just found thousands of felony-level voter fraud cases

You didn't answer my question because you know the answer is zero. Checking my ID doesn't show whether or not I've already voted in a different state. Dipping my finger in ink would literally be more effective at this task.

You didn't read the legislative initiatives. Eventually they'll have software that will cross check with other states and if things go right you'd find yourself in a lovely cell in a state institution. Checking your ID would prove that you are voting where you registered, that you are who you say you are and that you aren't voting for a dead person. It makes all the sense in the world.

That's not how it's going to work. If you vote in two states, they'll catch you after the fact, not during.

Well don't you think that if people knew they would be caught and sent to jail it would modify their behavior? Voter fraud is a direct attack on our representative democracy. It's just as much a crime as treason and nearly as important.

How exactly do you think they came up with the list they have? An ID law wouldn't change this, these people have already been "caught." (the ones that aren't clerical errors, similar or identical names, etc. anyway)

An ID law supports prosecution of people who break voting laws. Take that positive identification of the fraudulant voter away and prosecution is impossible.

No, it's not.

how many convictions? I am not reading the whole thread unless there is some sort of real evidence.

So far, zero.

Hello? Has anyone noticed what party won big in North Carolina in 2012?????
If there was any shenanigans that gave anyone an advantage at the polls it had to be the republicons.

I totally agree that your anecdotes are just as worthless as everyone else's anecdotes.

You haven't made any substantive points. The fact that O'Keefe can videotape getting someone else's ballot is not evidence that voter fraud is rampant.

The point has been made that it occurs, and that it is easy. Nobody seems to know whether it's widespread or not - that doesn't mean it isn't. It also doesn't mean that it is, but the point has been sufficiently made that it bears further investigation.

All the voter fraud in North Carolina in 2012 was republicon ...look who won.

•155,692 voters with the same first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state – and the latest date of registration or voter activity did not take place within N.C., likely individuals who moved out-of-state before notifying their previous voting district
All 155K of them?

I hope no one believes that 155K people colluded to committ voter fraud NC .

I hope NC invests in software before 2016 to catch these criminals...all 155K of them.

Progressives are the one's always squawking about voter fraud being a myth. What changed your mind and how long before it gets changed again when Democrats are caught? :lamo

Well, when the winners declare that they won because of voter fraud ...I tend to take them at their word.

So you're cool with voter fraud, but not when it decides an election - like in Minnesota and Al Franken. Good to know.

Not a myth. Rare. If you can't tell the difference, stop discussing this subject because you are unqualified.

You honestly believe that decided the election.

No fraud ever found in Minnesota...in a race that was literally too close to call.
You guys are showing huge fraud in North Carolina the year you won there bigtime.

Perhaps you should inform your progressive brethren that it's not a myth. I guess not being a progressive sheeple unqualifies me --- That's a badge of honor, ty for the compliment.

You honestly swallow everything the loony progressive tell you. BTW, what's up with the "undisclosed" political lean... what are you hiding from?

Of course - to Progressives like you such blatant hypocrisy is hilarious. There's only ever fraud by Republicans - never Democrats. When it's Democrats it's a "myth". :lamo

When investigations run by Republican-controlled legislatures fail to find the massive voter fraud so often alleged, one must wonder why the constant fixation on such a non-existent matter.

Given it's so non existent, ID's should be provided before voting, for both Republicans and Democrats.
