M. Obama’s China trip taxing hotel employees: ‘We can’t wait for this to be over"

Employees at the Chinese hotel hosting the first family are reportedly “fed up” with the Obama’s high-maintenance antics, and say they can’t wait for them to leave.

Staff workers at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel told the Daily Mail that First lady Michelle Obama, her mother and two daughters have apparently outstayed their welcome. They have been staying in the $8,350-pre-night presidential suite in Beijing since Thursday.


According to one concierge staff member, the Obama women have inconvenienced “pretty much everyone” and the first lady’s mother, Marian Robinson, has been “barking at the staff” since she arrived.

How's is this even breaking news? I would wager that everyone is inconvenienced when the first family goes anywhere. I am sure the hotel knew what they were getting into. I wonder how long it will be before the hotel starts advertising their hotel as a place where the first family stayed?
 
Okay.

First off the first family causes this kind of disturbance wherever they go... in Halifax there's only one major highway in or out of the city and the whole thing was shut down during the G7 Summit of '95 when Clinton arrived.

So the disturbances to the hotel are not an anomaly.

Secondly an anonymous concierge... COME ON!

Thirdly... I work with alot of Mainland Chinese Tour Operators, their idea of customer service is not exactly the same as the Wests, believe me.

I am surprised it took this long to post a negative about the Obama's trip.
 
I had always assumed that hotel staff were PAID to take care of the guests, I suppose it is not the case in China.....who knew?
 
I just want to know if Obama flew his dog over on a seperate plane, and if he is golfing?

wow...this is breaking news? Anonymous hotel employees can't wait until the President of the US is gone and things get back to normal. Color me surprised.

One slight correction; They can't wait until the First Lady and her mother are gone to get back to normal.
 
Plenty of excuses pouring in from the left. Oh, it's inconvenient whenever they go anywhere, they are paying $8300 a night, this isn't news, republicans, etc...

But wait, no one addressed why they are being A-holes. I know why, because that's the way they are. It tells a lot about a person when they act that way, in a position of power. They are low-lifes, plain and simple.

Of course, the First Lady of the US travelling anywhere is a hotel employees nightmare. What with all the security and whatnot...

But that only matters when it's Michelle Obama....
