Jimmy Carter believes U.S. is spying on him

Good for Jimmy. I dont trust them. Sure ive bet the NSA has monitored all of us at one point or another.

No but they can intercept the any letter addressed to anyone they have an interest in and read it via either opening it and putting it in a new envelope or shining a bright light through it and deciphering the image.

If you wish to check if this is happening put some photographic film in your letter and make sure it goes in in a dark room and comes out in one.

The chances of them knowing the letter exists are Slim.

To the Brits, yes; not to us.

To the legitimate government, which had defended his slave plantation at great cost in blood, to avoid paying taxes, yes. The traitors were not a legitimate 'us' at the time.

Except for his SS protection folks who work for the Fed.
