Merkel speaks with Putin almost every day. She's is the key to any resolution to the problem. Putin and her don't use translators as they both speak each others languages fluently. They know each other very well. Putin respects her and so does Moscow. She was against expanding NATO to the east into the Ukraine and Georgia knowing it would piss off Russia. That's Russia's red line. What people aren't talking about is part of the EU package that was rejected by Ukraine was the stepping stone to NATO membership. Once the Ukraine's pro-NATO revolutionaries took over.. all bets were off.

Now the illegal PM of Ukraine is realizing this and trying to correct his position of Ukraine being a future NATO member to being one of Non-Alignment.

Good Post AC. :2wave: Not many have brought up Merkel nor what she has been saying to Putin and vice versa. Which you know we aren't talking about the grandstanding and joining in on the bandwagon. Do to NATO commitments.

Why would we believe that the Billionaires that the USA put in charge are not corrupt. These are billionaires we are talking about, not honest, hard working laborers or heroic patriots. I think billionaires are billionaires because they look out for their own self-interest above all things. We are not talking about patriots, Nation builders, but greed mongers.

If you believe that billionaires (like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet) are inherently dishonest then there is little can be done for you. Sometimes these people are just harder working and more intelligent than others, as well as providing better leadership.

What could one think? Let's see, these billionaires came out of the regime change/coup with their fortunes intact and in leadership positions and friendly with Western Reserve banks. They must have been working hard and be very bright, otherwise some hero of the revolution would be in charge. Dead fish.
