Edward Snowden is a hero: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak

Agreed. And if Snowden hadn't done what he did, claims about our government spying on us would have remained tidily within the realm of Conspiracy Theory. I can't believe there are people who think that remaining silent while watching our government slowly turn into an Orwellian nightmare is the right thing to do. It boggles the mind.

The alphabet agencies are working with tech companies surveilling our every email, text and conversation. Tracking us at will with cell phones, suggesting what to buy with Ad targeting, telling us what to eat, drink and smoke, and even how to think. Wear seat-belts, follow the rules, don't make any noise. Orwell would be freaking over how we're being herded.

Imagine little mini drones, zipping around saying- "citizen that will be a $200 fine and one electric *zap* for farting, cursing and spitting in public".

Orwell would be freaking out, but the average uninformed American is loving every minute of it.

Hahahahahahaha

Hilarious thread.

They won't when they realize they have no freedoms left.

Especially when you can run to a country like Russia with its long tradition of freedom of the press, speech, and liberty. And a country that would obviously have no interest in the military secrets Snowden took with him.

There's a liberal talking about liberty again. Get back to me when liberals understand the concept.
