5 tycoons who want to close the wealth gap

not the same thing at all. you don't have to own a gun to be against handgun bans.

So why do I have to overpay taxes to be in favor of higher taxes?

If you disagree with the deductions... why would you take them?

Just because other people are taking them?

The rich don't want to spend more of their money or have more of it taxed.... no, they want everyone to give more. They still keep the comparative advantage, while increasing the cost of entry and eliminating competition. Buffet is a shill for keeping the rich much richer than most. If he wasn't, why, he'd go ahead and pay the full undeducted rate.

if you are in favor of higher taxes why not pay them then? why take the maximum amount. if you think that workers should be payed 15 dollars an hour then pay them 15 dollars an hour.

why do you need the federal government for force you to do it when you have that power now? the answer is simple.

buffett has no intention of ever paying higher taxes. he doesn't care it just sounds good to people like you.
the guy from amazon has no intention of paying his workers 12-15 dollars an hour or else he would already be doing it. it sounds good in a news sound byte though.

And if I believed in gun ownership, I'd buy a gun. But I don't personally own a gun, therefore I must be in favor of repealing the 2nd amendment.

But if you disagreed with gun ownership, you'd clearly get rid of your gun.... or be a hypocrite.
